The polygraph seems like the hardest part to pass because you can easily make your heart jump to strange, unsettling questions. It took 2 months to get into the state prison academy here, I think they are moving very quick and covid must have really slowed stuff down. The hiring process from my recruiter, said 3-4 months.

    As a child in my country they celebrated a holiday called Halloween. In the day time it is October fest. If you make it passed October fest and beggars night you make it to All Saints’ Day. When my daughter was very young she enjoyed the holiday because she was born on thanksgiving just following Halloween. We have her a teddy bear baby shower. Alan Micheal did not like scary things. When she went into the haunted house it was too scary for her so they turned on the lights and got her out. She does events now. Wedding birthdays events planner.

Northern border doesn't need Spanish and even if you're on sourthen border you just do some quick Rosetta stone courses and you're done. Just get yourself into shape and get into the mindset of being yelled at and dealing with stress.

      @@efficientfuture1336 Bro, so no. The hiring process is awesome at first. when CBP extends you a firm job offer (after all of the hurdles you have to go through). At that point, you get to negotiate many things one amongst them is your desired duty location as well as your starting step. (ie GS7 Step 3) I hear that step 3 is easier to get than say GS7 step 7 lol. Before I go on any further make sure you apply using the VRA job offers in USAJOBS. The VRA Job openings apply to veterans and they give you special considerations based on your disability rating as well as other factors. Also, if you have a master's degree in certain disciplines you are able to apply to start as GS9!!! and you get to skip the entrance exam lol... **** make sure though that you do your homework, because once they send you to a specific location you are stuck there for a little bit :( seniority takes priority to move personnel and the new guys as you know will always get last choice :( if you have any more questions let me know.

    Why is that CBP instructor wearing a blue cord like army infantry?

    • @enriquefuentes7697
      @enriquefuentes7697 Год назад +2

      Local and federal law enforcement agencies adopt a lot from the military. Sometimes even uniform components. The fourragere must mean something specific to CBP OFO.

    • @ILSB847
      @ILSB847 Год назад +4

      The blue cord indicates he's the commander of troops at CBP. The commander of troops is like the drill instructor. They teach you drill and ceremony, inspect uniforms, teach you how to maintain your uniform. They generally pop in unannounced to do uniform checks or will inspect you as you're marching to your next class. They also have allot of influence on where your class will graduate (if it's in the actual graduation building or if it's in one of the chow hall rooms set up to be a formal graduation room).

    • @jonmark11
      @jonmark11 Год назад +2

      lololol the world doesn't revolve around the Army. A low of "military" uniform components are used similarly in local/state/federal agencies (ie. rank design, red/blue chords). In the Navy, the blue chord means a "Trainee RDC" or DI in training.
