Hi Mel, please could you run through settings for çutting out stencils in mylar/doeflex ? (What's the difference) On CM900 thank you, I love your way of teaching us

Iv got both mylar and doeflex and my cm900 seems to be somewhat sharp so to speak. I hardly ever increase pressure from 0, with the -grafix EDGE : CLEAR STENCIL FILM .005 : 25FTX20IN ROLL I only needed about a barely 3 I can't remember exactly without looking, haven't tried the doeflex yet but I really struggled to cut the edge one in my cut n boss even with the metal plate yet it slices through construction acetate and up to 1mm greyboard with thin metal dies like butter

Oh and doeflex is actually originally used in the construction of small to medium 3d models to give strength weras mylar is more of a flexible 'film' still can be used for lining windows in models ect but has excellent non stick repelling/reducing staining from products (except permanent dies and pigments of course!) And is usually heat stable. It is also more flexible and transparent allowing easy usage on curved surfaces ect. Hope that helps
