No worries! The white is the clear coat being sanded and it shows up white like that because it’s dry.
Just bought that Milwaukee 2438-20 polisher. Need to get in some practice, going to find some old sheet metal / paint I can work on. The fling is annoying vs. dual action, when do you use the wool pad?
