    This song is good advice for anyone who finds success in anything. I dunno about others, but even though in the 90s I was mostly into metal, I was really into Crypess Hill and especially Black Sunday. They're one of those acts that crossed over, it was probably their dark stoner vibe that I dug.

      I don't disagree but I think part of it is because modern rappers are 60% reality star, 40% rapper. These guys were musicians and entertainers. I don't think the modern guys live in the same world, metaphorically speaking.

    As a teen I "liked" this song. But now I can "appreciate" it. I can absorb it on deeper levels.
    That's how true music should be, always offering more layers of meaning for those who are willing to listen further.
    A simple melodic progression or lyric hooks you, but then you find yourself wanting to understand more, and CH delivers.

    Have loved the song for years but knowing Chino Moreno's complilated it with Cypress and speaks the intro makes me visit it more than I would. I'm a 46 yr old Aussie chick and am glad to see others my age still enjoying it as well as the younger generation getting into what we listened to 🤘🏻.

    I’ve been so conditioned because of where I grew up not to like the east coast and everything that’s come out of it, but am absolutely realizing how powerful this man’s story was! Glad I took the time to listen to him, I can definitely relate to everything he’s gifted to the world. Pumping out art work every hour and a poem every 15 min, all while dialing 800 calls daily to sell electricity and while singing out a song and tapping beats with my free hand and feet.

    Been listening to them since I was a teenager, and 3 years ago, I was able to be on their concert in Wien. It is a lifetime memory. I thought they couldn't make any better music than the IV album (which was a masterpiece), but then they came out with this. What a banger. :)
