I love flying. The airport, the random purchase of magazines I’d never usually buy, the engines opening up to power down the runway, the flying, everything about it. 👌🏻 ❤
I am not an aviation buff or expert but find these videos so relaxing while i work from home and i do wonder if we will ever get back to those days of walking around without a mask and no social distancing-so nice to see people queing next to each other- Thank You Noel
I love the full flight videos, including arriving at the airport, walking to the terminal, boarding, AND waiting for pushback... its the real deal experience. I absolutely love all of the ambient cabin sounds, the clicking of cabinets, the bells ringing and voices of the crew. 1st and business are my favorite because i enjoy viewing the service, especially BA. thank you so much for inviting us to join you on your full flight experience!
I have watched quite a few of your full flight vids now, drink on the side, headphones on with some cool tunes, and your flight to far away lands. A great way to relax.
These videos are excellent for first time flyers. I remember how petrified I was first time but I had no idea these videos existed. I,ll fly anywhere now and still love watching 'the experience'. Thanks Noel.
my Mom rode it, but got yelled at since she wasn't parking in the lot. I used to be obsessed with PRT, remember tracking this heathrow project when they built it. Did you know that there's one at West Virginia University (the first ever, opened in 1975, and the only one until Heathrow)
This is the largest schedule visitor to my island in the Caribbean, BA has a flight from London Gatwick with one stop over...i have never been on a 777 but some day, i have been to the UK in 1996 but those were days of the 747 service to the islands, now its the 777...awesome video i really enjoy your stuff :) !!!
this is great! even though I am just watching, I can imagine me being there. I am not a frequent flyer an I do not get to travel abroad that much. cheers! I'm subscribing.
@@PDohm123 Yes, I'm aware. I think I was referring to the much shorter takeoff roll compared to what you'd be expecting for a 777 flight. (4 year old comment, I don't remember exactly what I was thinking about)
I've never really had the pleasure of travelling on a 777 as yet. However my Dad has a few times and was quite impressed, I know that they are often described as workhouses and reliable. When you think of the current issues that Boeing is having with regards both the 737 and the 787 Dreamliners let's just hope that 777 keeps going as well as it has been. However, like all airliners the 777 will have a lifespan and when it comes to renewing their aircraft of this size I imagine that Airbus a330 and a340 would be the equivalent and would duely be considered if Boeing are still experiencing major trust issues in the quality and workmanship of their aircraft.
I love hearing captain who is full of energy and excitement. His appreciation and passion for his work comes through clear. It helps me relax as a passenger. How many people were on the plane? It seems a very large plane for such destination.
Jim McCuin • Same here, friend! Not only do I love the "feel" of flying again, I love going "with" him as he goes through the terminals. The armchair experience affords me the next best thing if I don't ever get to actually go again.
Thanks Alan! They are sending the 777 every morning through the summer on the BA458/BA459 rotation, the earlier one BA456/BA457 is operated by a 767-300 :)
Hi noel Thank you for these videos, all are amazing. Question do you happen to have any British airways flights on the 787 flying after 4 years and just looking forward to getting away for a few Months Thanks again ❤
Late to the party here...been a subscriber for a while now but the algorithm pulled this one up. How'd you get the radio audio while onboard? Was that dubbed over after the fact? How'd you know which frequency to monitor? I'd be very curious to know. Thanks!
Oh the pods. i thought great i'll have the free ride but then i got to the car park and the hotel gate said something like £5 to get in so i thought forget it
It's free if you park in that car park, or you can ride it from T5 to the car park for free. I've heard people have just pressed the buzzer on the gate and they open the gate for you from the hotel too, but not confirmed.
Thank you :) Yep I love the GE engines, was pleased to get a GE bird as the sound is incredible. Also great to get the bus and walk in front of the huge engine!
Boeing 777-236ER to LEMD ... Must have been better than getting a ride in a Rolls Royce! IIRC this flight is usually the preserve of one of the remaining Boeing 767-336ERs (used short to medium haul only now) which BA will be operating until December 2018. Iberia also has a bit of a 'Rollie' on LEMD / EGLL afternoon rotations in the shape of an Airbus A340-642 as the A343 is no longer in service with them. Travelled on one in September 2017 and the idea came from when I travelled on the same flight back in the last days of McDonnell Douglas DC-10-30s at IBE: LEMD to EGLL Terminal 2 back in August 2000 though! :o)
Hi, no it is available to anyone but you have to park in the pod car park which is quite expensive, or at the Thistle hotel next door which also has access to the pod :)
Really good that you filmed the Pod and there were transit and bus rides as well ;) as well but why such a big plane for such a short flight I thought it would be a 767 or an A320.
I remembered you liked the bus and transit rides so made sure to include them :) Two reasons they use the 777: this flight ties in with all the lunchtime departures to South America, so they boost the capacity and also Madrid is the freight hub for South America so they have a lot of cargo and need the hold space of the 777.
Okay a few more questions firstly why didn't you film more of the Heathrow transit interior and secondly when you got the bus you should have sat on the back facing seats because you would have got a better view and I'm going to try and do what you did on the Madrid Transit when I fly from Stansted to Reus with Jet2 next month :)
OK so I had a really bad experience going through Heathrow. I was almost threatened by airport security as they thought I'd filmed the security checkpoint (I hadn't). They told me there would 'be consequences' if they checked the CCTV and found that I'd been filming. This shook me up a lot, and made me pretty scared to do any filming through the terminal, hence why I didn't take a lot of footage :( Sorry I didn't get more footage, but I didn't want to risk getting kicked off the flight, and their security were really intimidating this past weekend. And that's awesome I can't wait to see it :) I may be flying with Jet2 early next year as we are going to Menorca and there don't seem to be many options from the Midlands :)
Thanks! The pods are free, but you have to have to park in the official car park which is quite expensive. You can ride them between the terminal and the car park all day for free though, you only have to pay if you want to leave the car park :)
I don't understand something, how are some of the seats facing toward and others facing the other way? I thought they all had to face forward for takeoff? Im confused lol🤔
Yep in business class the window seats are rear facing! Very strange sensation especially at take off but it gives you a great view of the engine and wing throughout the flight :)

Hey man! I loved the view of the HUGE engines! I wasn't expecting a huge plane to fly a 2 hour flight from London to Madrid. Can you make a flight on Delta Airlines? You're still working on the flights coming soon, huh? I can't wait for the flight back with Iberia :D
Hey Branden, thank you! Glad you enjoyed it! It's a great way to get a long haul aircraft on a short route :) And yep I just haven't had time lately :) Iberia will be next :)

Hi Noel, Great flight just loved it. Keep it going. I especially loved the pod travel to the Heathrow airport. However, I have couple of questions: 1. How was your flight? Was it comfortable? 2. How many flights did you take during this trip to Spain? 3. When did you book those flights because I checked your website around 4 weeks ago and I didn't spot this particular flight. 4. What flight are you going to release next week?

They are pretty cool! I've used them before but wanted to include them in the video this time :)
I love these videos! It would be nice to see some more flights to and from Asia, like China, Japan, etc... Keep up the great work :D

Thank you! Glad you enjoy the videos and thanks for watching :)
I really enjoyed the trip thank you for presenting it.
It rotated so quickly!! B777 has such powerful engines for a short-hauler!
Yep, and sitting backwards for takeoff it felt especially powerful, amazing to feel the power of those GE90s on such a short route :)
Additionally, the 777 was actually designed & built for long-haul, international flights. This was a rare use for it to be used for such a short trip.
