For Canadian cents featuring the first image of the Queen, it is referred to as the Laureate Portrait as the Queen sports a Laurel Wreath on her head. These cents run from 1953 to 1964. Just a bit of trivia for you this morning TSG. Enjoy your trip stay safe in your travels.
Thank you for that. That is fascinating. I was thinking to myself when I made the comment that I thought there were 3 different profile coins made over the years.
Thank you, I'm pretty fortunate to get this much in my area. Not all areas are getting 3 pounds per box. There are also areas that get 4 pounds, but I'm not complaining.
I sent my two 2023 extra v pennies I found coin roll hunting off to be graded this weekend. I will let you know how they come back. As always enjoy your hunts. I still only get 2 to 2.25 lb of copper per box
I look forward to hearing how they are graded. I guess I need to really appreciate that I'm getting in the 3 pounds range most of the time in my area. Thanks for watching, and have a blessed day
I won't go through the zinc ones. I have rolls of the 2009, so if don't get those I won't be heart broken. If I happen to see them I'll grab them. But I would certainly go through the copper and see what I've got.
What brand of window did ya have installed? Last penny box I went through had 4lbs 2oz , and only 4 wheats. 1 roll had 20 copper. Wish they were all like that.
It was just a nice new double Pane window... Hope to get them all replaced in our house next year. The old windows here now are the worst I've ever seen, but they are very difficult to open and close and have the screen in place. My wife loves open windows whenever possible... 4 pounds is great, I've done that a handful of times. A few times when my WV friend brought me boxes of pennies. I think a box or two from Ohio too.. My box from Detroit was good, lots and lots of Canadian copper, but I can't remember how many pounds it was.
today my mom and i went to el paraiso supermarket to changed my 10 dollar lottery ticket to win 10 dollars, so the employee woman told me that can i have to changed 20 coins of quarters, 2 coin rolls of nickel, and 2 coin rolls of penny, so only 2 coins i have wheat penny of 1938 and a canadian 1 cent from 1988, 2 coin rolls of a nickel like canadian nickel and a indian i don't have it

What a coincidence I just rolled up 4 rolls of copper pennies. Good luck and good hunting.👍
Very nice, and thank you. God bless
Hello Gabby. Just checked my American zinc pennies. I was able to find 2- 2023 D mint marks pennies, no extra V. Happy coin roll hunting. 👍👍👍
Thank you.... I think I've checked thousands of 2024s... Never found one .... Oh well.
Nice penny hunt!
Thank you. This was a pretty good box
I need to get one of your penny mats!
They are listed on ebay, and thanks for watching.
I was considering buying a sorter. Maybe go through them after you sort them? Great video!

whats years are you looking for?
The copper years I hoard are 1959 to 1982 (only some of the 1982s are copper), and I also collect the wheat pennies made from 1909 to 1958
