OK … right away, I see something of interest: The ribbon wire connector. I’m assuming this puppy is from The ’70s and if so it means they were using that method of wiring much sooner than I realized. My system has problems, so I’ll be seeking out such videos. ✌️
Hello teammate! I am in Miami Florida. How about you? It’s never a good idea to wait until the unit goes bad due to the potential damaged involved. You could end up having to rebuild a burnt PCB, having to replace and match transistors, rectifiers, etc, and you could even damage a transformer which would be extremely difficult or even impossible to replace. It’s always better to practice preventive maintenance. There’s also quite a dramatic improvement in sound quality when these units are restored using certain capacitors. 🙂🙏
Saludos.
Soy de chile.
Excelente. Macintosh 2205
Tengo uno igual.. muy buenos videos. Gracias

Another informative video! I was worried those radial caps would not fit back inside the amp, but you came up with a great solution.
Thank you very much teammate!
