Just for clarification, they're not testing to be granted permission to climb the tower on their own. Every floor has a set of tests, and once you pass you get teleported to the next floor. Each floor is basically it's own separate dimension.

there is no romance the main joke is that baam is very innocent and doesn't notice anything while all the main heroines fall in love with him except for anaak, one of the biggest ships is baam x androssi since they have the most scenes together with little ones romantic moments, in fact the anime in the first season cut almost all interactions between them

Sometimes Bam will be called a regular even by people who knows he's an irregular, That's because there are two ways to use the word regular. A regular in opposition to an irregular is someone who was chosen by Haedon to climb the tower and obviously Bam isn't one, but sometimes they use the word "regular" in opposition to "ranker" to mean "someone who is still in the process of climbing the tower", and Bam fits the second definition, it's a bastardisation of the word, but it's just easier when they're lumping in Bam with other regulars.
They do that because the Venn diagram for the two groups (regulars and people climbing the tower) is basically a circle. There are like 2 or 3 irregulars climbing the tower for tens of millions of regulars so it's easier to just call everyone climbing the tower "a regular".
- Yuri got the Black March again when she saved Endorsi and Anaak from Ren, the assassin.
- Jahad didn't build the Tower. The Tower existed long before Jahad came. But it was Jahad who built the civilization and selection system in the Tower.
- Bam IS an Irregular, but he still has to be a Regular and climb the Tower to become a Ranker.
Yuri doesn't have Black March it's still in Bams possession. I'm sure the anime will explain though

Fyi, Hwaryun isn’t a princess. She is a navigator. Someone that guides people throughout the tower like Evan is to Yuri.
Also the design gets crazier further on in the webtoon. This is still early S2 style where the author style starts to develop more.

Yes, definitely make notes on things you learn about Viole. He is a mystery, even if you know who/how he was before; anything new you learn in this and the next couple of seasons (assuming they continue adapting) can be important.

Right now Baam is also technically a regular in the sense he hasn’t climbed the tower. It goes Regular, Ranker, Advanced Ranker, High Ranker. So until he reaches ranker he will be a regular in that sense.

monster is a relative term. Ex. to a canary a cat is a monster. Even lero ro last season was like a monster has appeared bc baam was the only one not affected by the shinsu wave he put out. Also last season too the tester (one with the instant coffee) told lero ro that the tests are to filter out who's a threat/danger to the tower. As you can see with love he's the later of eliminate said danger.

You definitely can expect romance but just know that none of your ships may sail... In season 1 he already had a thing with Endorsi that was cut out in the anime and even in season 2 they have some romance... Also Yuri is 700 years old and she just likes his face lol She's also once said idc what happens to him just protect that cute face 😭

@@Flexy59 Nono It's actually a thing everyone complained about when season 1 first released that the romance was completely removed, I just haven't read the first season but in season 2 onwards where I've read, they've gone to multiple dates and he has made promises about their relationship after everything ends and he's only ever done this with her

It's funny ho people hated Rachel from the get go even in season 1.
For me, although I don't necessary like her (especially after the last 2 episode of season 1), I saw her rejection of Bam as how somehow would be imposed responsibilities they never ask for. Like a big sister having to take care after and brother because the parents are gone, etc. At some point she decide to let go of those unwanted responsibilities which were keeping her in place and decided to pursue her dream instead. Not good from a moral point of view but still.
Then the last episodes of season 1, despite showing her inner conflict in the last one, settled everything.
Here, when Bam tells Rachel that the Tower's creator must have been lonely, I once again sees it differently. For me, it someone who talks passionately about her dream, only to see it ruined by realistic remarks. Like children talking about their dream job when they will be adult, only to hear they should be more realistic, that it's hard, not for them, etc.
We probably all have had a similar experience were our enthusiasm when talking about a subject we're passionate about was met with skepticism, ruining the mood.
Don't get me wrong, I still think Rachel is a b**ch for what he's done, but I find that some scenes that were shown could be seen from different angles. But most people are too angered by this characters to even consider any of these other angles.
