I adore the way Avelone weaves gameplay mechanics into the writing to make both a philosophical and metagenre point. Kreia describes quest givers and your player interaction with them. Take on their battles, use them, exhaust them to temper yourself and then leave them. The mechanics of the game nudge you into viewing others in terms of their personal utility to the player just as Kreia argues. I'd go as far to argue the player is a acting as a Neitzean Uberminch within the setting.

Using and disregarding them at her whim, resenting whenever her progress is hampered by the fact it's often in anothers hands, or when she's challenged on her outlook by others, even The Exile. Her philosophy is very intriguing but it's callousness as well as her own, can't be denied.

Kreia is a wise character, and provides insight that should be evident
but becomes blinded when caught up the amazement of the Force.
But in my opinion, her flaws as a character is that she can't accept an uncomfortable truth that there is a greater power over us all.
She is a great character, but she still is a pessimist. But if I were to have a DarkSider of any denomination as a Master, it would either be her or Plagueis.

I agree completely. I think Kreia had it wrong when she wanted to make everyone deaf to the force. Also if she kills the force the dark side and the light side will persist but not in the same way, and the dark side would prevail because people who are manipulative and willful and without compassion will always rule. She failed to see the simple truth that everyone came from the same source and that they are all part of the force. "The Exile" is the living embodiment of Kreia's philosophy and code. Due to The Exile unusual/unique ability to influence others through use of a powerful Force Bond ability.
The Exile could form bonds through the Force easily to those around her, an ability she was not consciously aware of. After reconnecting with the Force, this ability became stronger.
The ensuing death and destruction on Malachor V, particularly that of the comrades The Exiled had befriended during the war caused such a substantial wound in the Force that the shock would have killed The Exiled had he/she not unconsciously, and instinctively, severed The Exile own connection to the Force.
Thereafter The Exile was deafened to the Force's call; incapable of sensing it through the interference caused by the Force echoes of the suffering that The Exile had inflicted and been forced to witness.
The Exile was not consciously aware of that The Exiled instinctively, severed The Exile own connection.
Becoming a normal human being without "Force Powers". Forsaking all the Jedi principles excluding one: no attachments. The Exile "wound in the Force" that surrounded it was caused by the Battle of Malachor V, and was what originally blocked The Exile connection to the Force.
The Exile "wound in the Force" that surrounded The Exile, allowed him/her to feed on the death of other life forms to sustain his/her Force powers.
When The Exile reconnected with the Force on Peragus II, after all the personnel were killed by HK-50's machinations. When The Exile traveled the galaxy, killing hundreds in her search for the Masters, she unconsciously fed on all that death, fuelling her powers.
It was this that caused the Masters such fear-both at her trial and after she had united them on Dantooine-as they thought her condition to be not only a threat to the Jedi and the Force, but a threat to life itself.
The Exile was answer of Ending the Force, once and for all, had he/she follow Kreia's plan. Canonical it never happened and the Sage and Force continues.

Normally i would agree with you but my friend... i hate to say it.... i really do and i wish it wasn't like this but... that's not even how our world works.
You see it's not about treating people like shit, but to understand that peoples values and opinions may change over time.
As will yours. And so be ready to cast them away if you must.
Some believe we emit an energy, a frequency of a sort outward to the world when you give too much love and kindness. People are drawn more towards those who are in command, and those who care less.
Have you ever felt like in your darkest times no one was there for you when you needed them the most? Even when you just badly wanted to talk to them, and if you forced it and contacted someone, they weren't being as empethatic or caring as you needed? And when you didn't need or wanted anything that you once did... now all of a sudden it comes to you?
That may be how the universe works, or at least our connection to eachother as species.
In a relationship usually the one that cares less is the one in control of it all.
Some people believe it's because the energy we send out, some people believe it's a matter of frequency, as scientifically everything exists within a certain frequency. And some believe it's a matter of a "God" within us all. That when we stop seeing our true value and what we deserve, but still want and need, then we don't get what or who we want and need.
In my 30 years of living as an atheist agnostic, i have seen and experienced and heard some strange shit.
And perhaps i'm seeing connections where there is none. But too many times and often too many similarities for it all to simply be coincidental i'd say.
I hate that it's like this. That life can't be more simple. That loving and caring won't give us what we want and need, even when we feel like shit about ourselves and how we see ourselves. But in the end that's just how it is.
That is why we can't rely on others too much, and must be ready that one day we may stand alone.
