Oh my god I thought I was the only one who felt this way! I hated it when Max would want to do something, Ruby tells him he can't or she'd move him somewhere else. It used to piss me off for some reason. Even now when I watch it my baby cousin I get annoyed. We were young and didn't like the idea of someone telling us what to do, so when Max was told no, it felt like we were being told no? I don't know, but I always felt like that while watching.

My grandparents had cats named max and ruby bc us grand kids would watch it all the time. Now only ruby is alive :( max passed last year but ruby has new buddy’s now. She still gets depressed and doesn’t like to hang out with the new cats.
