- One of my favorite trucks is the Losi Super Baja Rey 2.0 RTR Desert Truck. This thing is just an amazing baja truck all around. Today with run it in the sand and hit some jumps at Seven Mile ORV Spokane, WA

Agree 😁 Xmaxx is just a best overall truck but the Losi still suprises me how fast it does with its size and weight

You know it’s a great video when I’m literally entertained by watching a bunch of dust cloud.. LOL great quality, setting and time of day with the lights, almost going out on a limb and say this is the best SBR 2.0 video on the tube… he’ll even RC in general!

Just bought mine and absolutely LOVE it. It's so fun to drive esp because you actually have to drive and control it. I have the Kraton 8s/Outcast 8s and both are awesome but really no skill to drive. The losi drives like the Xmaxx, so fast and out of control you have to really keep it on track. Only thing I wish was the battery compartment was bigger to handle bigger packs like 9000mah lipos.
Totally agree! Xmaxx and Kraton are fun to bash but the Losi requires more skill and the driving experience is something else 😁 One of my favorite trucks to drive around on loose dirt. Yup a bigger compartment would be nice and also a different locking system, sometimes after sand its hard to open the tray lol

While the flex looks terrible its designed that way so its doesn't destroy itself.
Thats kinda what I figured, the plan is too add a flexible 3D print brace so it can still bend on impact but also have less flex but we'll see
i dont think it was designed that way but maybe you are right. If you look under it the links from the suspension block access for a brace, I watched a video where a guy put small carbon fiber squares on the sides at an angle and it eliminated the flex and remained just as durable. Now, if they used aluminum or plastic thats a different story so I see where you could be correct in that they arent going to dish out the $ for carbon braces.

I did the flex mod. Definitely worth it. It also keeps back tires from scraping on body.

durability of this thing is pretty mind blowing for its size and how intricate it is. I love My Mojave cause I can bash it hard and it looks like a trophy truck as long as it has the shell on. I just ordered one of these because I love trophy truck / sct style and wanted a scale / realism based one that I can still bash with. I got it over the UDR for a couple other reasons:
1. Durability. If a UDR took any of those crashes in this video you'd be back in the shop lol.
2. It looks so much better.
3. its BIGGER lol

I’m a pussy when it comes to bashing mine. I put around 500$ into it so far. Working on getting vitavon wheels. Awesome truck. I just watch other ppl tear their truck up lol.

I love the truck. Once you get the spring out of the roll cage your good.. I started 10 years ago filming a 1/5 scale HPI 5st.. Nothing but problems with that truck!

Body flex not an issue for me...as long as it doesn't break at the rear, I'm okay with that.
Yours rolled a few times and hadn't broken at the rear, great advert for this then 👏👌

Thinking of getting one of these, few things worry me: ive heard the decals like peeling off.
That must be a mission to clean after each run, that dust must get in everywhere, and you have to unscrew many screws to get the body off.
Otherwise I'm sold on getting this!!
If you use power tools then taking the body off is easy, theres probably like 20 screws 😁 Decals do peel off and yes its kinda a pain to clean it, but worth it 😁
Don't listen to the disconnected content creators, the decals is not an issue for the majority and don't let cleaning off road rc be your limiting factor in enjoying the hobby

Right now its closed till the memorial weekend. There is a Facebook page called RCCCS - The Radio Controlled Car Club Of Spokane and thats probably the best way to see whats going on with the track

Please explain why its hard to remove the battery cover if you take it in sand?
I'd like to take mine in sand too...
The sand gets stuck in the cracks and you cant get a good grip on the tray to pull it open, the lever to open the battery also gets jammed sometimes
What batteries are you using and what's the run time before you have to charge them again asking because I'm seriously thinking about buying this truck
Im using Zeee 4S 14.8V 7200mAh 80C batteris and get about 15 min run time. More mAh equals more run time 😁

I try to push down on the batteries from the top, with bigger hands it might be hard to squeeze in but it takes some time to release it
