nice viedo.I picked a model 70 today 30 06 cal but would like to clean up stock alittle bit.Has some minor scuffs nothing terriable.Not sure what year of manufacture but I love this gun.Any suggestions on just claning stock.tanx.WSG.

I think you should clean at least the barrel even if you shoot one round through it. Never put a gun a away with any kind of powder residue in it.

The safety has 3 positions. Put the safety in the middle position, and slide it out while pressing down the release button with your left thumb ( I believe)
