One thing I learned in this video is "Not all heroes wear capes sometimes stripes/orange"
You mean stripes or jumpsuits
Real footage of hero without a cape😲
They're prisoners lmfao

If you can save another man's life, you deserve to be remembered, by at least someone, as a good person. Period. Going out of your way for another person's life takes some heart.
Big 'ol Booty Cheeks the guards and their families sure as hell will remember them.
They should have shorter sentences or be freed
@@joseheenandez2119 some of them did, search up convict Antonio brown gets resentenced

@@thebowserjuniorchannel395 it deffinetly gets peoples attention lol
Not everyone in jail are violent some are just having a rough time and they are decent human beings. Not everyone in prison are horrible people. They make mistakes albeit bigger than most but still people with a soul and heart.
This is why people shouldn't be put in jail for nonviolent crimes. If you aren't a danger to others, you shouldn't be locked up. All those people sitting there doing nothing all day and being a burden on tax payers for stealing or doing drugs, when there is plenty of work they can be doing to for the community. Prisons in America are a big business so this would probably never happen.
Makes you wonder what crimes these people committed...
Most of these were jails. Most likely nonviolent and misdemeanor offenses. The guys on work details are definitely small time since they're allowed out for work.
On the one where the CO was being choked from behind, several of the inmates that saved him were there waiting trial for murder. I saw that one on TV, and the inmates said the CO was a really good and fair guy, and they weren't going to stand by and watch him get hurt.
@@tattooedman42 I saw that one too.

@@justinlecroy5217 are you freaking seriously thinking that? Lol obviously you never been in jail.
I have a feeling the guys who saved guards were put in for petty theft or something like that.

Probably some weed
Drakno the Treecko fan
That’s pretty stereotypical, even people who make huge mistakes can change..
Y E S
It could be anything, really. They could've murdered. But people do change.
some of them were probably just thieves, drug addicts, and vandals who never attempted to harm anyone. that being said they might have had a higher value for human life than you would think.
DuskySpice yeah I agree
You are so right, sir!
DuskySpice, they probably committed crimes to help their families, or they became friends while they were serving their sentences
DuskySpice or people who've been judged for crimes they didn't do
Wait they wouldn’t really care if they were a drug dealer right?
#DrugsKill
Those Guards had there Respect that is why thy saved them
If they were respected why did the prisoners attack them?
@@jeff-hd9og not every inmate respects officers at all but when a bunch come to help that means that officer has respect with a large majority of the inmates
It's not thy it's they
@@jeff-hd9og Not everyone will return kindness with kindness. Same with respect with respect. Fortunately though there more people in the world that do respond positively to positive treatment then there aren't.
Not a lot of inmates are respectful. My brother is a co and the inmates call of to him all the time but he stands his ground.

CULTURECRASH?!? OMG 😲 I LOVE YOUR VIDS!!!
I've said it before, but I feel it bears repeating, the inmates on this list should have their sentences reduced for stuff like this
Unless they happen to be a repeat violent offender that will do whatever they can to get their kicks in. Everyone else, yes.
I disagree as this would become a way for inmates to do this to purposefully to get out without the right intent
caden heywood oh so ud rather a guard die. I rather a inmate help me regardless of he's intensions
Top hunter71, he's not saying inmates SHOULDN'T help, he's simply saying not all cases should result in lighter sentences. Some of these people could be just getting into prison and are looking for any way out possible. Fighting for a life on the run is much harder than fighting for a lighter sentence.
stephen kilibarda You can't "bail" someone put of jail who has been convicted and sentenced.

Remember they are there for a reason...they are just trying to make better lives for themself
They still commit horrible crimes
Lmao no. They did the deed and now they are getting what they deserve. However, kudos to them for trying to become better people
They r for a reason
I love this 🙌🏾❤️ God tells us to not forget about them because not all are actually guilty, made me think hard ... Breaks my heart 😢
Yes, there are the types of prisoners who fit the portrait of how one might typically view a convicted criminal - hostile, violent, problematic, etc. However, many ppl in jail/prison aren’t even there for violent crimes. Just b/c someone is incarcerated, wearing an orange jumpsuit, or has been labeled a convict, doesn’t necessarily mean they are evil and have no conscience.
Exactly
Prima Murdock it doesn’t?
James Ballnik Some people are in there just because they had a lot of weed on them

Even locked up, there are some good people! This revives a little hope for humanity to me
These people deserve to at least have lighter sentences, maybe even parole.
Miles May agreed
Some of these are not prisoners but waiting in jail before sentencing. . Faulkenburg jail is one. . I'm certain it's in their records before they go to court on whatever reason they are in there and corrections officer who were saved I'm sure will show up in court or at hearings to say what they did.. but what if the guy who saved a guard was just arrested for murder of your child? Would u want them automatically free for one very good deed?? Something to think about...
Jennifer W well I'll put it like this: I doubt men kind enough to rush to rescue of someone whose job is to make sure they stay in the worst place on you can put someone is capable of child murder.
Miles May unless they are there for murder
macky 14 ok ,fair enough.
These prisoners learned there lessons. People can change :)

I have a inmate story!
My mom used to be a nurse at a prison but one night she was going home and went in the back outside but little did she know that a inmate was hiding in the bushes with a knife and popped out and ran after my mom but she was so lucky that she got back in the prison and probably called the officer if my mom wasn’t able to get in the prison she would have been dead and I love my mom please put this story on one of your vids pleaseeee💖
No
Um... but.. the.. a prisoner didn't save a life...it's not just someone with common sense .-.
I SHALL WISH YOU LUCK BRILEY LYNN I SHALL WISH YOU LUCK
Yea but another inmate didnt save ur mom, so how does tht compare to this video? Dnt get me wrong im glad ur mom is ok, but my point still stands. Ur story doesn't apply to this video! Ur mom got away from tht inmate, other inmates didnt save her life, she saved her own life by getting away from tht particular inmate...
Nu
This comment section is 60% “Stop talking and show the damn video.” 29% “These people should get reduced sentences.” And the rest is probably unrelated... ._.
I think it's pretty easy to forget that not all criminals are necessarily violent. Some are just in for fraud, drugs or are even wrongly accused and have no desire to hurt anyone.
At the same time though they're in a place where you can find the very worst of humanity ... and are judged as such.
It's a shame that this happens ... but I get it.
And some people are just the less rich and beloved version of O.J Simpson
Not all convicts are monsterous human beings with no remource

They should get rewarded
King G They most likely are maybe small stuff like extra rec time or maybe bigger stuff like reduced sentences
i think it depends on what they were charged with. If its murder, it would be a very light reward, but if its a teen who got caught drinking or something small. I say parole instead of jail time, just maybe extended parole to make sure.
Some of them got shorter sentences!
They do depending on what it is
Game Giant Yea maybe a furlough as well, probably it's rare though

Like reform or something?
I mean they could've just left any way they were better in numbers in some cases
If they did then why didn't they? And the one that was breaking out, they could've ignore him and run away but didn't

The "footage" seems to cut out at the MOMENT of VINDICATION.... but I'm one of THOSE smelly people...
When convicts have faith in their heart
So some times.... good ppl are in jail...
I've been incarcerated a couple times when i was younger and met some of the nicest people you will ever meet. For instance an inmate threatened an older nurse that worked there and myself as well as four others got in between him and her to keep her safe until guards could come. One of the four with me was being transfered to another state for murder charges. Just because you end up in jail/prison doesn't mean you cant change and become a better person. Anyone can change if they truly want to and have the opportunity.
When u do something good and make up for what you've done u get blessed😇🙏
Bless those inmates that saved the officers instead of running off
Not all people are in prison for violent offenses. Maybe what these guys were in for were for non violent crimes. Nothing is all black and white, there are many shades of gray. A truly evil person would not intervene to help someone when they could make a different choice to only help themselves.
Darque Queen well done learn later or maybe want to change from old ways, there's millions of things these ppl could've done
Like mail fraud
My uncle has 30 years for stealing from people but he did it many times while he was in prison he got his GED is study’s for masonry for electrician work is working to becoming a pastor when he comes out and is still studying carpentry

Number 5 - the inmates said that the guard treated them with dignity and respect and they loved him for that. That's why they rushed to his aid like that. He was like a good father to them. ♥️
I hope all of them got rewarded in some way, and decided to go straight after that. I know there are people twisted enough to do that kind of thing just to get their sentence reduced, but most of these strike me as genuine acts of good will, and I hope I’m right. I actually once met a convict who was doing service at the local animal shelter, and was very excited that he was going to get out right after Christmas. He seemed genuinely remorseful and said how much he wanted to get a job and not repeat his mistakes, and I really do hope he did all that. And that he got to go back and adopt a kitty after integrating into society. He pretty clearly loved them. (Which I take as a good sign on people. Being kind to critters usually shows a good heart. 😊 )
WTF these guys should get reduced sentences for that good deed they save somebody's life here it's not like they tried to kill them and they say no good deed goes unpunished well what do you call this
Jess Ames a good deed getting punished so it is no good deed *unpunished*
You don't know how things turned out or why the person is where they are. . Leave it to the courts, this will go on their record too.. what if they were just convicts murdering your child, would you want the person free for saving someone else? I'm certain the officer will testify in court or hearings as to the good deed done. . I'm glad they helped but not certain if freedom is proper in all these cases
Jennifer W yeah I guess that's true but I just see it has a good deed should not go unpunished so hopefully yeah the judge sees it and does something in return for that
Jess Ames I'm sure most judges, (not the idiot ones), would consider this... I'd certainly hope the officer would testify in hearings trials etc.. you do hear people getting out early for "good behavior " this would definitely quality. . I'm just glad they helped the guards out!!!
Jess Ames you do realize they can be doing it for a lighter sentence

ike fun That's actually pretty realistic considering that quite a few convicts don't have much love for the guards regardless of how fair said guards are.

krispy baykun honestly, they're probably going to get jumped, I did 5 yrs, that's what would have happened on the 4 yards I been to. And all the county jails. It's a shame for real, it shouldn't be that way.
Believe it or not, a lot of inmates DO respect guards, depending on how they treat people inside. A decent guard who does his job and isn't a dick is usually liked.
They aren't friends of course, but they respect each other.
+CaptainLekirk that is so true. I got ten years inside. Some of the guards are from the hood or hang out in hood spots

I was fine with him until in another video, he mixed Sam and Colby's names up.
Probably because "Is this real life right now " and overly exaggerating tone instead of deep calm voice
Maybe its because if you take a shot every time he says "save a life", you will be dead?
Man, his writers suck, and not just because of the repetition.

A defibrillator doesn't make a hear start beating, it's used when a heart beats irregularly, know as fibrillation. A defibrillator paralyzes the heart for a second or two to allow it to beat regularly. CPR is used to restart a heart beat
