    My Kobalt 40v lasts 45 minutes to an hour in my mower depending on the grass length. Thanks for the update! Great video!

    Thank you brother. Im 56 so im always glad to get advice from someone older than me. I figure you are at least 2 days older.
    I just bought the gen 4 so i was looking around to see if they are waterproof.
    BUT my point about good advice;
    I learned something new today:
    The gallon of water trick. Love it and will use from now on!!!

      We can all learn new stuff. My son teaches me stuff a lot. New Technology has just about passed me by.
      Thanks for watching Henry, James

    I have the generation 4 of this push type mower with the 60 min run time on a 40v 6ah battery, it does the job replacing my gas mower on 1 ac lot, I have to do it in parts with the weeding also which is a Kobalt 40v weed eater with 4ah battery, so glad that I can cut that much gasoline out of my budget. also the gas mower needs some work to want to start this year and I am tired of the same old crap every year.
    As to be wore out before the gas mower decided it didn't want to work that day and I didn't get the memo, so I gave it a layoff.

    I have ryobi but few people i know who have a kobalt and often recommend it. From what tell kobalt is comparible to some of the ryobi products but i dont really hear too much about them. Love see a video comparing these two companies mowers together. Usually i here ebout ego, craftsmen, milwake style brand, along more popular brands i see

    I admire your battery charging organization. So why the cord on the ground in the middle of mowing? If it’s battery powered then why the cord? If you mow into tall grass/weeds, does it gradually bog down like a gas mower so you pull it back before it dies? Or does it just not die? Looks pretty good. Now the important burning question. If y’all insist on mowing in thongs or open-toed sandals,
    is there a booth at the farmers’ market called, “Mama’s Corns in Three Flavors” Original (crunchy and smells like vinegar) Chewy (been soaked in epsom salts and shaved thinly) and Dang, they’re So Tough You Gotta Have Your Own Teeth to Eat ‘em.” You’ve probably been doing it for decades without incident, but I’ve worn some kinda shoe since I lost 3 toes thanks to a piece of mower thrown baling wire while mowing in my “thongs” as we called them then when I was 13. Of course I considered myself lucky as my Mamaw told a story about a boy mowin’ who threw a chunk of balin’ wire that “plumb cut him in two!” I’m not sure if it was the same boy struck by lightning on his bicycle while delivering his paper route that she talked about. Couldn’t be the same boy, right? Your videos are always thought provoking. Keep it up.

      cord is for the car battery charger and when you hit thick grass it revs to a higher rpm to compensate. I haven't found any so thick that it cut off or anything like that. It is a great little mower.

      @@CountryFolksLiving My Hart and Ryobi 40 volt mowers increase rpm on their own when you hit a tough spot. They rev up just like a gas mower. I would think this one would do that as well without your rigged up crap. I was raised to take care of my equipment. Yours looks awful. Probably will have a short life.

    notice how it did not suck up leaves and debris

      I have it set pretty high, if you lower it, it will mulch more. I don't think the blade is a high lift blade either.

      I used the ego select cut xp last season it was not a better mower then my gas mowers. I do kinda see why people get them I am not a fan after using on all season@@CountryFolksLiving

      Thanks for the offer but I do have Grandsons that can outlast the batteries, (If you can get em behind a push mower), lol.
