Hello friend! Thank you very much for your nice comment. The stones I use are limestone. My finger had a lot of problems in the first week, now it is completely healed.
Tough one with rocks falling on your foot and almost falling going downhill! You might consider some eye protection when chipping rocks. An eye injury would be nasty.
