I love how you explane it step by spetp. ❤
Best video yet. All the rest I've watched were not near as informative as this one. Thanks a BUNCH
Just wanted to say thank you for your video, my wife 20014 Altima radiator shit the bed, I figured that I would save some dough and do myself. Damn, it took awhile to remove and replace the radiator, but I'm satisfied with the result.
This dude did a good job explaining how to do everything there was a few things that dont need to be done and other thing nissan does use blue asian coolant your prob doing this for a friend or a customer who brought their own coolant you prob know the rightvstuff to use good job
Appreciate the feed back, yeah sometimes I have to use what the customer supplies even when I recommend what the manufacturer requires.
In some videos i may do a little extra steps since some viewers are totally new or never done one before. But you definitely can get away without removing couple of stuff i removed.
Glad my video help , Thank You For Watching 🙏...
I like this video better than the rest of them. Thanks for posting.
Wow very detailed. Ty. Nissan altima seems to be it's own breed!
I’m doing a 2016, excellent tutorial 😊 that’s the way I do it as well- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Good video and helped ne get going in the right direction. You dont have to completely take the bumper or bumper support off just loosen them and let them fall out of the way. Also just loosen fans and leave them in there.
Yeah I know sometimes I just take a little more extra stuff so you guys have more room and won't damage nothing. I had some bad experiences when I try removing some stuff in tight spaces.
Goodluck by the way
I used this video for my 2015... My advice to add on to this is to remove the whole battery and tray. You can reach the top trans hose way easier
Did it just like this thanks to you. Exept i didnt take off all the bumper support. Just top screws and 8 nuts and it came off in one pice. Instead of 3. I installed a 50 dollar ebay radiator. Ill post how long it last.
Video was very helpful Thank you.
a honest video shows how hard it truly is!! good job
Thanks, it's not hard as long as you have the tools require. But for most people that never worked on vehicle it can be difficult.
Good luck if you replacing it yourself.
This guy is awesome
“Go ahead and do that”
“Go ahead and do that”
Thank you for this detailed video!
No problem at all
excellent explanation, thanks
That was a good video for me I have to do my daughter car
Hey man thanks for the video u save me today
God bless
No problem at all glad it was helpful.
What happens if the right aluminum bottle got a hole like the gas go out is that the condenser what problem will be driving it with it broken
You just won't have a/c .
This Altima is a 2.5 4 cylinder not a3.5 v6
I think you right, I toke long to uploaded that's why thanks for the correction 💯
How long did it take you and i have 2016 nissan altima should be about the same process right??
Since I know the process around 2 to 3 hours max because of the coolant bleeding. It should be the same if it has the same engine.
He'll I took mine to Chief Radiator best in Dallas TX
Nice video, lots of good information. 👍
I did it without removing the fans I just unbolted them
🦌 hit the car. Radiator and condenser is bent. Coolant leaking. Worth it to replace both and keep the car or just let them have it? Can I realistically do this on my own not being necessarily handy?
I think it worth fixing it not to bad of a job. Maybe the only the that you might need help on its refilling the A/C condenser.
Good luck
Why do I need to remove fan?
It's not hooked up to the radiator!
You don't I did it for video purpose so you guys can see better. But if you can detach everything I mention on the video you don't need to remove it.
Did you discharge the ac?
No You Don't, Only The Coolant.
👍🏽
Hey is the 3.5 engine and 2.5 the same steps? I have the 2.5 engine
It might be on the radiator side just look at the video if it looks the same you can use my video.
What kind of coolant did you use? ? It does not look right, should be blue like Asian or Nissan. Otherwise, thanks for putting up the video. I am doing this to my car right now. I hope I can i get it back together.
The job is not to bad, on the coolant I did told my customer couple of times but that's what they supplied. There's other coolants compatible as well, just double check them before adding.
Good luck
Does this also work for 2015 model?
If it has the same engine yeah
now how i put her back together 😂
🤣 simple just put everything reverse, good luck....
lol the wires is the most difficult part. I would have to break the clips to get them off
Lol yeah you right sometimes they are the most difficult part.
Mannn look at that battery
Where did you buy the radiator from
Autozone
Is this the same for a 2020
Not 100% sure but if it looks exactly the same it should be the same process.
This for 2011 maxima too?
Not 100% sure but if it looks exactly the same it should be the same process.
Here's another reason why mechanics hate engineers =)
Giving a tutorial with background music is no bueno.
U Do Not Need to remove the bumper guys!!!!!
Lol yeah you do. No possible way to remove that radiator

Hate the music
Thanks for the feedback I will lower the music significantly. Hopefully the video was helpful either way.
