This video specifically came at perfect timing because I just finished Flight of the Eisenstein!
Garro was a truly legendary warrior that has shape the future of the Imperium and all the warriors that will come after him, and he is one of the greatest warriors that Pale King fail in seeing his true potential that his son will rival his own.
Garro made such an impression on me that I custom-painted my Age of Darkness army in the livery of the Dusk Raiders, assuming that the Loyalist XIV Legionaries at Isstvan III would return to their origins, like the Luna Wolves. I even named 5 of my minis after Garro's command cadre: Pyr Rahl, Tollen Sendek, Solun Decius, Apothecary Meric Voyen, and Veteran Sergeant Andus Hakur
Garro & Loken were, in my estimation, the truest heroes of the Heresy. Standing firm against the heretical will of their gene-fathers, they were emblematic of what the Space Marines, and indeed humanity, were always meant to be. Truly, there were many other astartes of note who defied their primarchs in the Emperors name. But of all the defiant sons, Garro and Loken may very well have held the survival of mankind in their hands.

With a throw,libertas was soon grabbed by garro. The knight of albions sword was his once more. His un-eyes stared at mortarion. "Prepare." Garro would dash towards mortarion. The first time they fought he fell,but the emporors might flowed through the revenant. Silence slammed into libertas,yet despite mortarions advantages,garro ducked below,making a sweeping strike at the leg. The sword rended the decayed ceramite like a hot knife through butter. It was much more even now. Garro moved all through out,never staying in one spot, striking from every angle. Yet mortarion was a warrior beyond peer save curze or sanguinus or even the lion. He parried yet even that did little as garro hammered strike after strike. It was little but it was done. Mortarion turned,and with a spinning motion,silence whirled around him through the motion and mortarions dexterity, garros unflesh was rended and torn yet he stood defiant. "I pity you for all that is happened mortarion. Perhaps one day you will not suffer so. But today,you fall." "I am not the same being you faced at terra battle captain!" "Nor am i,traitor!" ⚪ The Scythes of the Emperor, the Doom Eagles and the Mortifactors. One of the three is worthy of being the new XIV Legion. What makes me think of the Scythes of the Emperor as the new XIV Legion are the Nurgle Wraiths and Hexwraiths (because of their symbol).

Great video and happy to see Remembrancer cover Garro! I have a tonne of notes on Garro and the Knights-Errant, so just a really pedantic errata I noticed - 24:12 Serron and his 121st Blood Angels and Nirun and his White Scars weren't inducted into the Knights-Errant, although Garro did offer for them to come back to Terra with him. Black Book 6 describes that they meet with The Nemean's Dark Brotherhood blackshields at the Conclave of Optera, but they refused Garro's offer then the Alpha Legion mess things up and only The Nemean leaves from the Conclave with Garro, Tylos Rubio and Callion Zaven to join the Knights-Errant.
I feelnlike hes a better fit for Lokhan Just because Lokhan has absolutely insane swings of character, Kind and Honorable, then insane, then broken, then conflicted, then a cold blooded killer.
Funny I just finished The Hidden Dagger and Knight of Grey then this video pops up. I think Garro needed to die to secure his status as a legendary hero. I think Mortarion largely got what he deserved being the only primarch who turned to chaos because he was a massive hypocrite and just plain bitter about stupid things, its rather poetic that the Khan buttblasts him before killing him showing that his so called endurance was also a lie. Of all the primarchs I feel like Mortarion's special power is just basically being a smelly loser who always loses is just funny. Even within the Chaos ranks Typhus and Rotigus outshine him and his only saving grace is that he was born a primarch and has a powerful body while having the mind of a petulant child. I feel like to a degree Mortarion is just Lorgar except his religion is about just ruining everything and calling it art and then everyone comes along and calls him a retarded shithead bound to an evil god who is worse than the Emperor.

Garro is one of those characters to good to lose in the story, but the impact and emotional value of him dying was superb. Great vid Remembrancer.
