LOVEBITES is my favorite band. Love the sound of the bass in this mix. Fly to LA to see them live.
This funny drummer plays better than 95% of all rock/metal drummers on western stages.
She'd the most efficient metal drummer I've ever seen, and her fills and cymbal work are exceptional.
This was the opening track to the Tokyo leg of their "Judgement Day" tour held last year. Lovebites' new LIVE LP "Memorial for the Warrior Souls" is from this concert and will be released on August 28. Their new EP "Lovebites EP II" with 5 new songs will also be released on the same day. BTW, Lovebites will be touring the US in September with 4 shows confirmed so far - Dallas, LA, SF and Atlanta. Atlanta will probably be the closest to where you are but that show has already been sold out.

Have you seen Korn before? I've seen them twice, and there is no chance I would never pass up the opportunity to see a Japanese band's first time in the US to see Korn again, or for that matter any other band I've seen before like Metallica, Opeth, Exodus, Slayer, etc etc. And it's Lovebites which easily seals the deal for me.
You compare stupid US band "korn" (small letters) to One of the greatest, at least, modern Heavy Metal bands

Pretty sure that they don't forget about the little engine on the drums behind them, seeing as she drives most of the songs with her ability to work those monster bass drums infront of her while filling out the rest of her sound with the rest of the kit and never break a sweat while doing it.

Midori was inspired by Yngwie Malmsteen and Nuno Bettencourt recently Bettencourt attended a concert and Midori wasted no time getting pictures also recently she took 2nd place in a bodybuilding competition Miyako put out a solo EP recently of Piano covers of 6 songs 1 lovebites Addicted,Deep Purple Burn, Yngwie Malmsteen Far and beyond the sun,Gary Moore The Loner,Metallica Battery, and Just like Lovebites she did a piano cover of Helloween Eagle Fly Free the same song as a band they covered Eagle Fly Free in their Awake Again live Studio album as a bonus song, Miyako is a classically trained Pianist check out songs like Swan Song with chopin Intro (has Lyrics version) or Miyako solo La Campanella/Lost in the Garden Asami also plays Piano in this one, Can Nita Strouse play Piano? Midori also can play piano but prefers guitar, Miyako has classical influences from Chopin Drvorik, and Rathmanonov and guitar influences from Ritchie Blackmore (Deep Purple her mom was a huge Deep Purple fan ) also she's a huge fan and influenced by Gary Moore.
I Ihave been listening to Lovebites since 2018 and I am one of their biggest fans but stop this tribalism . I am a fan of Korn since 96 and those guys what they did in the 90s , you young ppl have no idea. They may not be a great musician individually as they were self taught but as a band what they did in the 90s was special. What they contributed during that time as a metal band very few bands could do that. They càme out of nowhere and resurrected metal music in the mainstream consciousness because the mainstream music was very much the Boybands and the Girlband stuff that was going on. They ignited the passion for metal music among youths and made it more accessiblle. Great musicians not always makes a great band but great minds certainly do.
If you stop the guitar solo in the middle and ignore the harmony, the exquisite composition will be ruined.

Dude, choosing Korn over LOVEBITES? Verrrrry questionable decision! Think about it - how many chances are there for you to see Korn nearby or within driving distance? Many. How many times will you have an opportunity to see LOVEBITES? Possibly only once (hopefully more, but the opportunity is much rarer).

Lovebites are how Metal is supposed to sound. Most of what I hear that is popular 'metal' these days is simple Grunge music, played with Metal instruments at Metal speeds. And to someone who saw Metal in it's infancy in the '70's and became a permanent Fan, it is Not Even Close to Metal. Now, I actually go see some of those bands, because as a 60 yr musician I like a lot of variety, But I Don't think of them as Metal bands.
They will also be in Los Angeles and San Francisco at Cafe Du Nord am hoping for more days you won't find a better Guitar Duo out there M&M Midori(Blonde) and Miyako(Brunette) are the best combo in last 30 years since Murray & Smith or Downing and Tipton ]:)
