Foam Crafting a Fallout 4 Radio

- Time to take that Fallout collection to the next level. In this build, I am going to show you how I made a Fallout Radio and put a Bluetooth speaker in it to make it actually functional. And a big thanks to the sponsor of today's video Cos-Tools, more about them in the video. In this build, I used 6 mm and 4 mm What the Foam from Cosplay Apprentice, 15mm and 6 mm EVA dowels, EVA cones, aluminum fencing wire, neodymium magnets, led lights with battery pack, contact cement, super glue, Plasti Dip, spray paint, and Plaid FX acrylic paint. You may also need the following tools: Cos-Tools, a heat gun, a Dremel with various bits, a wood burner, a Xacto knife, or a box cutter. Unbelievable. My new favorite build. I don't even play Fallout (my sons sure do though) but your builds from this genre are always on my must make list and the fact that it is functional is icing on the cake. Thank you for another original, awesome video.

Great build! And it's nice to see someone using Gorilla glue for something other than hair care products.
LOL. Although to be fair, I have used gorilla glue on hair... okay to glue down fur on a prop, but close.

This turned out so amazing. The wood grain on it turned out better than I expected with that roller. I think I know what I need to make for my next project now.
Thanks man. The old style of music players and televisions back in the day were more like furniture and made a statement. Today's tech is usually sleek and blends in. It's cool to have that punch of old with the mix of new tech. And I was surprised by the roller too.

I got the idea for this waiting in line at the dollar store. They had a little sales rack and I picked a pair of those pucks up for like $6. And they get really loud. The great thing about this particular build, is the speakers don't have to sound top shelf, since the item is vintage with lower sound quality anyways.

I'm not going to lie, I was singing "I Don't Want to Set the World on Fire" quite a bit during this build. And when it was done, played it several times through the Bluetooth.

If I was a little more electronic savvy I would have made it fully functional with the switches but I just rigged it the easy way. It get's pretty loud, which is surprising from a dollar store speaker.
Have you ever thought about maybe reaching out to other creators to collab? I would LOVE to see you and Bobby Duke Arts create some cool stuff together
I have tried a few times and plans fell through. I have some in the works right now. A lot are just difficult to line up due to scheduling conflicts. Bobby Duke is awesome. Such a talented and funny guy. Maybe some day.

Just found your channel and I’m quite impressed with your work. I skimmed through your videos to see if you had any Lord of the Rings stuff and didn’t see any. I don’t know if your into that or not but I feel like you’d do a great job with some of the helmets from those movies. Perhaps the Witchking or even Sauron.
Welcome aboard! Funny you should mention LOTR, I've been looking at several ideas this week for a build from the series. And Sauron's mace keeps coming up in my mind. An elvish shield would be pretty epic too.
This might be to much to ask but I love to see a 1:1 prop pick r truck or zip car from fallout 4
If you are talking about the toy versions, they might be doable. If you are talking about actual vehicle size, yeah, that would be too tall of an order. 🤣
@MuchProps it would be a cool subscriber milestone video honestly to maybe you make a 1:16 scale of it first and lay a milestone goal to reach to build a full size one with interior and do photos with it in costume and stuff
So recently, i remembered that you made a nuka ca vending machine mini fridge months back. Well i saw what the vending machine looks lime in call of duty cold war, and i was wondering if you could make a der wunderfizz (idk if i spelt that right) vending machine mini fridge as an upcoming project (i like post apocalyptic inspired stuff and this fit the bill) in the future?

It's tuned to neither 😆. But I usually mix it up when I'm in game. I like the random commentary on Diamond.
