i think the Rihanna comments are mostly because of her look, because Andra Day is singing quite a few levels above what Rihanna is capable of (and that's not a diss to Rihanna).

Me too, for so many reasons: the beautiful music; the fact that I was not aware of many of the artists that I have been introduced to on TDC and I am just so moved by these performances because they are so soulfully intimate and ethereal. I now have an almost perfect writing playlist.
Rise Up allowed me to deal with my pain and joy to be my Mother's caregiver. It sums up the experience for both of us. Aura Day's talent is a gift from God herself... Smiles!!
