Thank you for a great tutorial. But Im confused in procreate there is a dodge and a linear burn mode but you used multiply and overlay? So I dont get it? Sorry dont mean to be dumb lol.

That’s a great and smart question, I think 🤗❤️ Thanks for asking. There are two reasons I do it the way I do. First, it’s non destructive (and you could just duplicate the original and use the tools for this benefit). And the second is that you can easily erase and make changes to both the dark and light layers (including to opacity and blend modes). So, it all comes down to greater control and flexibility 😃
