I enjoy flying my club’s Archer (also with an IFD 540), but I’d love have access to an airplane more suited to cross country missions.

The archer is a nice plane. I flew one many years ago (prior to GPS being so prevalent). I'm currently going through another upgrade (rather than repair older instruments), look for a video soon.

Great video. I’ve done some time in the TB10 and have moved up to the TB20. Love the cruise speed and performance of the TB20. Question- I saw the camera types but how’d you get those gauges on the video? That’s cool!

I use a program called Telemetry Overlay on my Mac. It can grab data off the GoPro, or if you get data from ForeFlight or other KML type data source. If you get it off of the GoPro, it's synced with the camera you pull it from, if you grab it off of ForeFlight then you have to do the syncing yourself. Obviously this video has 3 cameras which require synchronization, and I believe this was done with GoPro GPS source. (frrom the GoPro Hero5 you can see in the window)
