I bought a brand new Spider X in Copper around the same time. And wow. I am the same as you. My putting has improved significantly, and I love how the balls feel off the face on impact. I sometimes alternate playing an Oddysey White Hot 2 blade and a Jazz Blade or the Spider X depending on how my back is feeling.
Ping Sigma Anser 2, mid-size grip. Few months old now, but had my longest made putt ever with it just 2 weeks ago.. over 30 ft. Very happy with it so far
I Agree that the ping sigma is a really good putter a bunch of my friends have it and it has a such a soft touch. I wish I had it but I have like a ping putter from before I was born and it has a soft touch but not as soft as the sigma
@@cademcvicker2268 I had a very old putter for the last two years but the shaft was bent. It was definitely time to make the change. If your putter works, I wouldn't change
@Beavis The blazer the 30 footer was indeed on accident I promise you. I was trying to get it within 1-2 feet at least, which is how I typically putt from far away, hoping for an easier tap-in. When I'm that far, if I can save myself from a 3-putt I'll take it.
I recently tried a bunch of different putters with different head shapes and neck types etc… the Spider S has to be one of the best putters (for me) that I have ever used. It’s weighted in such a way that it almost feels like I just have to get it started but then it’s basically swinging itself. You’d really have to try / have a completely terrible stroke to move it off line lol. The lineup aids on the top frame the ball perfectly and really suited my eye, and I was just burying putts with this thing. It felt like I could not mishit it Immediately ordered one, Im waiting for it to arrive this weekend… l can’t wait to give it a go on the course
@@coleonofrietti8348 looks great behind the ball, not much offset, sits extremely square at address and it feels a little more upright than what I’m used to, might have to get it checked. It has an incredible soft feel (I play srixon Z XV) and my only down point would be the fact that black finish doesn’t react well to water, grease and oily substances but overall great putter.
Best putter ever is the Probe2020. It is solid brass and was endorsed by Gary Player back in the day. I love it. I have owned Scotties and Odysseys in the past and nothing compares to what I call "the golden putter"
I have the Sik Flo C myself, and after a bit, once I got used to it, it's been awesome. My Evnroll ER10 with that face technology is still my favorite, but both can be in the bag at any time!

i had one. very very heavy....grip heavy head heavy...i pulled some of the weights to help but ultimately the mallets are too much for a feel putter. the grand sport blade is great though.
I had a golden bear blade since my teens and the darn teenager and friends were goofing about and broke it... now in the market for a new putter, prefer all metal face vs synthetic inlay and prefer blade type... have been experimenting with arm locking. Great video, thanks for the info

I currently use an odyssey seven triple track putter. didn´t have a fitting. and from all the rounds that i have had with it, only 2 rounds have been bad (TBH on those rounds all my game was trash). I just saw the putter and went with it. I did check other putters, but something called me on that specific one. Now I rarely triple putt and hole out 1 every 10 putts from 10ft (except when I do have my bad days).
awesome video Joel, just curious have you ever tried a center shafted putter? I have a friend who was not putting well and bought one and he was rolling it last time out! I try to keep it straight back and straight through and was thinking about trying the Ping Tyne C. Cheers

My dad just sold his two ball odyssey… only to buy another 3 months later lol
Do they still sell that odyssey? I’m thinking on trying it. Looks like one of the best for lining up your putt.
Great video! The scenery with the trees and the mist looks incredible btw!
Bagged an Odyssey Toulon Austin last year and absolutely in love with it
