Excelsa interpretación de filarmónica Checa!!! Lujo de músicos integrantes!!! Director muy meticuloso en su dirección orquestal., excelente!!! Bravo! Bravo! Bravo!
Great music performed by a marvellous and extraordinary orchestra with a unique sound. I love the Czech Philharmonic, it's always a great pleasure to listen to. Hope to visit Prague in the near future to go to a CF concert at the Rudolfinum. Very best wishes from Germany!
Great performance by an orchestra that brought me so much enjoyment during three years in Prague. Interesting that one trumpet player is using a rotary-valve instrument and the other a piston-valve.
What a shame. The performance sounds amazing but I could not appreciate the musicians work given the terrible work made by the camera director: zooming on shoulders and faces, wide angles of the interior walls during crescendos, lack of focus and sudden changes/transitions. Pity.
I sort of can´t come to like this conductor - this orchestra definitely deserves a better one (kind of Ivan Fischer). Here Bychkov clearly shows a lack of imagination (sp important for romanticism). Just a a quick comparison: check out the conclusion (here starts at 38:12) with Charles Munch w. Boston SO (Dec. 1958 studio rec.), or Karajan w. BPO !. Now, that´s a climax!
My beloved Czech Philharmonic, thank you for your beautiful music. When this virus is over, I want to fly to the Czech Republic.😘
Looking forward to meeting you in the concert hall!
I still remember those unforgettable recordings my father had with the Czech Philharmonic made with Supraphon
One of my favorite Mendelssohn. What can one expect from the Czech Philharmonic?!
