  • You may think to yourself that you've seen this video before on my channel, but you'd be wrong. The first time around I compared an Eventuri air intake system to a Unitronic air intake system. This time around I compared the OEM air intake system vs the Unitronic air intake system while running a Unitronic Stage 1+ 93 octane tune. The results were very impressive and will only make this monster of a machine even faster!!!
    The first time I tested the Unitronic intake against the Eventuri intake can be found here: • How Much Power Does Un...

    For me, the RS6 is the most beautiful "attainable" car in existence today. Love the content. Also, very impressive numbers just from an intake!

    I have a 2021 TTRS with a UM tune and a CTS intake. Not only does the intake sound great, I always do something stupid when my foot is planted to the floor.😊

    Hello Sir, just discovered your channel and you got a new subscriber. Your tests are awesome, I particularly appreciate tests on fuel. I am pretty ignorant so I hope my questions make sense. I have a couple of questions, when you have Hp & Tq power gains after installing stage 1 ECU on a car, are these gains maintain for a long time? And are these tuning creating issues down the road on the engine/mecanics?

    • @VancityAudi
      @VancityAudi  6 месяцев назад

      These are the gains that you will see consistently in those weather conditions, with that fuel. As soon as it gets hot you'll make significantly less power. Yes, any sort of tuning where you are pushing the engine harder will create more stress on the engine and all of the car's components.

    Great test thank you! If you had to guess, how much hp gain would JUST the intake alone add with no tune? I think some of us may only want the intake without the tune (for warranty reasons as few service dealers will TD1 just an air intake) Would be good to know what that may be...15-20hp? 🤔....Cheers ~

      @VancityAudi  4 месяца назад

      I imagine you'd make zero gains without a tune. Air Intake systems are designed with the purpose of allowing your car to breath better once you've tuned it. Not simply to gain power on a stock calibration.

    20+ hp gain with an intake mod is impressive but with a $3k+ price tag it's way too expensive.

    • @VancityAudi
      @VancityAudi  7 месяцев назад +1

      What so many people forgot about when looking at the prices of these aftermarket performance parts is the cost of all the R&D that went into creating them. The companies need to then recoupe what they spent to make them, as well as make money. The RS6 market is not a very big one due to their price tag, so they need to charge more per individual unit to make their money back.
      Unlike something super cheap like a VW Golf where they can sell the parts for much cheaper because they'll sell 20x as many parts because so many people own Golf's.

      If this was a $30-$40,000 car I would agree that 3K is way too much but you’re talking about $130,000 vehicle. What’s another 3K lol.

      @@mcwendel8066 The thing is carbon fiber intake isn't that expensive. I got a carbon fiber intake for my Supra and it only costs ~$500. Proportional wise the intake should be $1k for RS6?

    Why use a setting on the dyno that show completely wrong!.? A RS6 C8 have 600hp/800Nm stock in engine = 480-500whp.

    • @VancityAudi
      @VancityAudi  7 месяцев назад +1

      As I clearly explained in the video, it doesn't read wrong. it's displaying numbers that correspond closer to what a Dynojet dyno would read. A stock RS6 on this dyno showing Mustang numbers makes roughly 495whp & 500wtq, which is obviously WAY lower than one would expect and not believable.

    • @StertmanMotorsport
      @StertmanMotorsport 7 месяцев назад

      @@VancityAudi does numbers you show are totally wrong and will not help that you explain! I own a Mustang Dyno and I have tuned hundred of Audi RS6/7 C8 on it. With does numbers you show it’s like the car would have 700hp from factory🤦🏼‍♂️.

    • @VancityAudi
      @VancityAudi  7 месяцев назад +2

      @StertmanMotorsport well if you've tuned hundreds of Audi's over the years, you'll have the intelligence to know that all dyno's read differently depending on brand, how they were calibrated, the ambient conditions, the elevation you're testing at, the quality of fuel used and on and on and on.
      Seeing as the purpose of the video was to show the before and after effect of installing the intake, it doesn't matter at all what peak numbers are shown as long as there is a before and after displayed.

    • @salik990
      @salik990 7 месяцев назад

      @@StertmanMotorsport if you own a mustang dyno then you also should know the other brand of dyno reading are going to be different as well, even some of the cars owners do know this basic stuff. Mustang dyno shows the lowest number of car powers compare to Dynojet or any other Dyno.

      @@VancityAudi exact;y this video is meant to show the differences of power it made before and after the installation of aftermarket intake to give the prove to all of us who is going to buy this intake.
