Simple tip. Equip max elemental to a fire material in your armor. To absorb fire spells. A lot of the monsters in his challenge use fire, so it’ll heal you. Helped me loads.

Man, I just finally beat the round, the damn thing would put up it's shield, then cast firaga after that, so I'd always get slapped because it either I couldn't cast the thundaga or had to use breach just before. So I threw fire & ice with elemental in my armour instead, so when it casted firaga, I would just get a fat HP boost instead of a big fat fail! Then i can slot elemental with thunder & wind again. Also a gamble, but I also usually have darkside as well, with enemy skill and hp absorption; i personally find it great for dealling heavy damage while also metigating the detrimental effects of darkside.
Thank you for this, I'm going along while I'm watching but I'm stuck on Round 2 because of the wolve's Earsplitting Howl ability. It can't be dodged and it's basically KO if you're hit by it. Any ideas for that one?
I’m doing exactly what happens in this video and he throat clamps right next to me when he becomes pressured and I just can’t dodge it 😣. He doesn’t do the walk around so I can’t get any distance between him. This one is so much harder than the other legendaries 😅
PSA: Stop WILL WORK the second time IF the bull(sh**) is staggered. Even with immunity, if the enemy is staggered stop will still work to stop the stagger bar.
For me it was a DPS check and using Stop a lot - I tried my best to go through what I did to win but in the beginning I too was dying to that part many many times until I switched up my strategy to using Stop very strategically. I started seeing success every time after that.
To prevent any spells from being cast, you must match his spell power with your own such as his Weakness Spell but your -ga version to stun / stagger him. He can be a pain if you don't go in with a strategy of using your -ga spells wisely.
I just kept myself on his “sword arm” dogging, he cast firaga all the time and 'cuz of that I just beat it thx to ur guide! Thx man! Now to the next ;-; after I’m done I don’t wanna see this game anytime soon…
The purpose of this guide is to teach not to get to that phase - I wanted to slow down the video and explain in detail what to do before that phase even happens.
the wolf is annoying one here, punisher mode and block attack with r1, when its pressured focused thrust, when its staggered, stop 2-3 times and go wild on it.

Elemental with fire is absolutely nothing to stop you from the explosion The wolf does.
I never use punisher mode, looks like to beat this I’m going to have to learn lol

For me it was a DPS check. Try not to get to that phase. I found that he does that move it's pretty much over.

In punisher mode do I want to be holding square to attack or tapping square?
Tap square for Punisher Strong Attack and Hold Square for Punisher Prime Mode

All depends on Video Performance - so far it's not looking good.
5:13 I would have done ATB boost after getting close to a bar or 1 full bar. Casting with little to no ATB is pretty much useless
