Thank you for sharing these insights. My family will visit Lisbon 2/17/24 - 2/23/24 and we surely would review this clip before/during our trip there. Moltes Gracies!
You're welcome! Thank you for watching and commenting! Enjoy your trip to Lisbon! It's an incredible city!
Great video love visiting Portugal especially Madeira island is spectacular, the pronunciation for st Jorge is Jorge like in French best wishes 🇨🇦🇵🇹
Thank you for the pronunciation tip! We can't wait to visit Madeira someday!
Every video I watched to research Lisbon before my visit highly recommended Time Out Market. I am so elated to know that you thought it was a dud also! I really enjoyed the non-touristy local restaurants I visited. I also thought I had made a mistake by skipping the pink street. It was on my agenda but I decided it wasn’t that big of a priority. I’m glad to see that you confirmed my decision was correct. My 10 days in Lisbon were amazing and I can’t wait to revisit soon. Thanks for all your great videos! ❤️
Thank you for the wonderful comment! We're glad to hear that our opinion was appreciated, especially as we try to encourage people to skip the touristy, non-authentic stuff when traveling. We're jealous you got to spend 10 days in Lisbon. Hopefully we'll be back soon🤞Thanks for watching and commenting!
I was just been in the Time Out market. It is overpriced and the food is avg.
I imagine you two walking around thinking "Oh no...another hill..." 😊
FYI the tiles aren't there for decoration purpose only, they protect the structure from the heat and the salty air.
Thanks for visiting our city. Safe travels !
"Oh no another hill" was exactly what our thinking was...Thanks for the information on the tiles too, and for watching and commenting! Hopefully we'll be back to Lisbon soon🤞
It would be really helpful to share how much things cost when you travel as this will be crucial information for most people
Thank you! We'll have to put that in our future videos. Sorry it wasn't in this one!
diese city ist wirklich eine reise wert welcome to lisbon❤😊😊
Vielen Dank! Wir haben unsere Zeit in Lissabon genossen und hoffen, bald wieder zurückzukommen!
Hi! Was this filmed this month or a few months ago? I’m going to Lisbon next week and I’m just not certain of what clothes to bring because I’m not familiar with the temperatures. 😂
Hi! We were there in mid-February. It was hot in the sun, but got a little colder at night.
My wife and I will be visiting Madrid in May 2023 and we plan to visit Lisbon for 2 days. Thanks for the info and Tour. Great video of Lisbon. Thanks
That will be a wonderful trip! We absolutely love Madrid after living there last year, and Lisbon really surprised us.We liked it more than a lot of Spanish cities. We actually have a few more Lisbon videos coming out soon! Thanks for watching!
@@MYTravelBF my wife and I visited Porto last year in October 2022. Great city. Take the boat cruise and wine tasting. We will keep an eye out for your video of Porto.
@@Tet-Offensive1968 We absolutely loved Porto too!
I'm going to Lisbon in February. Would you say it's coat or jacket weather? I'm going from Florida and not sure what to pack. How cold does it get? Thank you!
We'd say bring a lighter winter coat with some layers. We're from Wisconsin, so it's a bit colder than Florida and visited in February. Let us know if you have other questions! Thansk for watching!
What month were you guys there? It seem you're not encountering crowds
We visited in mid-February, and yes, there weren't too many crowds at all.
Visit Porto and then will many, many tiles., Lisbon is quantity but Porto has all the quality. Try it!🎉😅
Yes!! The tiles in Porto were so much more beautiful than the ones in Lisbon! We actually have a video up about Porto now! Plus, another one coming soon…
You need 4-5 days just for Sintra and at least 2 weeks for Lisbon/Cascais/Estoril.
We would have loved to spend more time in Lisbon, Sintra, and Porto, but unfortunately, we didn't have that much time off of work.
@@MYTravelBF I guess you'll have to go back :)
@@luisramos1609 Absolutely! We'd love to spend more time in Portugal and see everything else it has to offer!
Chiado. Not shiadu😂. Ruínas do Convento do Carmo. The Convent wasn't rebuilt to remember people of the earthquake.
Thank you! Our mistake🤦🏼♂️🤦🏾♀️
I see you guys wearing jackets, what time of the year did you go to visit?
We went in mid-February, so it was still a little chilly in the shade and at night.
@@MYTravelBF Thank you.
What month did you go? I’m planning in Nov would it be too cold?
We went in February, and it wasn't too cold at all. November won't be too cold either, unless of course, you want to go to the beach
@mytravelbf What was the average temperature? I'm planning to go in February
What month was this shot?
We were in Lisbon in February!
I've noticed tourist keep pronouncing portuguese words,as Spanish words, pronounce every letter, not like Spanish.
Thanks for the tip! We speak English and Spanish, so we did the best we could in the moment. Next time we’ll hopefully know a bit more Portuguese and get the pronunciations correct!
I'm going to guess that Mike is a Capricorn and Becca is a Taurus.
Not quite, but good guesses! We're curious why you think that?
@@MYTravelBF because you both looked like earth signs.
@@MYTravelBF what are your actual signs?
Pink street should be visited at night.
Interesting...It seemed like there were just a few standard bars and maybe a club on the Pink Street, so not too much to see that's special from elsewhere. Why is Lisbon's Pink Street so much better at night?
The street will be full of people having fun, just like in Bairro Alto. Both places are alive at night and depressingly dead during the day.
"J" with the Spanish sound, very annoying...
Sorry it was annoying to you. We'll work on our Portuguese for the next trip! Thanks for watching!
