Asil loved being brushed with the Furminator. He looked 5 lbs lighter after being brushed out. You can weave a sweater with all the fur taken off. This was the first time I've seen such a comb. I went and ordered one for my cat.
Got my first one decades ago when I had a Samoyed dog, a virtual hair machine. My cats love it. Plus it reduces fur everywhere and minimizes hairballs.
@tanyaphilly I used it on my short hair tuxedo last night. Moxie loves it. It shortens the shedding time, and means fewer dust dragons under the bed. We'll have another session tonight.
