You are absolutely right that this is great for an old tractor without a front-end loader 🎉. The company has combined the old back scoop attachment to the carryall product to make a great new combination! If we hadn't bought our new tractor, I would buy this in a heartbeat for our old tractor with no FEL. I still might , but we need some other things first.
For people moving with both the back and front end, it may be best to drop the back first, then turn around to use the front bucket so they can tidy the pile.
Seems like this would work even better with a hydraulic top link. Yet another nice piece of equipment that I can't afford. Thanks a lot, Courtney! 🤣 Seriously, love your content. You just have a good grasp for what people could really use. Other channels seem to start out that way, and then "graduate" to equipment that is more of a niche market and/or is way out of most people's price ranges. They become less relevant when they go that direction, to me. Glad you're staying grounded.
I think it's more useful to me than a box-blade but I have a BX & after purchasing three-point-forks I was somewhat disappointed when testing its ~300lb lifting capacity where my loader is more like ~500lb lifting capacity. If I had a heavy L series then I'd probably own one of those three-point-buckets. If it were hydraulic the hinges could be further out & would allow lower-hight dumping, the dumping might ought to have the weight on the ground & off the tractor anyway as the dirt-weight is shifted up-&-back. 5:02 I've bent my top link doing something similar to that with a rear-blade.
@@GoodWorksTractors Yep. It's been a solid performer for years now. It'll see duty on my 3043D when I have a lot of material to move. I like the size of the one you were showing today. If I didn't already have the KK I would probably get one.
I have one of the old-school 'dirt scoops' (reversible drag or push to scoop) which gets a lot of use and have a few jobs it would be nice to have the width of this split-fire.
I'm curious how low it can be adjusted. I have a fairly high 3-point. It's in range for most items but like when I borrowed my neighbor's disk I could only get about 2" depth.
Just looking at it, instead of a pull cord to dump the load, I think fabricating a hydraulic mount would make that a big game changer, especially for anyone that wants that and has a cab.
@Good Works Tractors thanks, no rush just thought I might have missed it and I would hate to lose just because I didn't see it and contact you. Thanks again.
Box blades, rear blades, landscape rakes....you push with many tools on the three point. However, you do want to use caution and not ram things unnecessarily that could cause damage. Same thing can be said using the loader pushing forward though.
What he is talking about is the slip scoop. Both products have their advantages. Someone needs to design one product that does both. IE take your product and allow you to mount it from the other side.

That's a really nice design. I like it for some of those older tractors that don't have front hydros like the old Ford 8n/9n.

Yes sir, I think it's game changer for those folks

Agreed
Dagnabit Courtney! You keep showing me things that I can't live without.
Hehe, really cool tool

Very handy attachment in all sorts of situations.. loving these videos !! Thank you for the excellent content 👏

Yeah, well I've shared my thoughts on the BX before 😂
Versatility and quality. Hard combination to beat.
Agreed, good value
King Kutter has had a version of this for years. I have one for my old 8N. Really useful.
Very nice! I did just search and find the KK version. 30" wide I guess? Is that what you have?
@@GoodWorksTractors Yep. It's been a solid performer for years now. It'll see duty on my 3043D when I have a lot of material to move. I like the size of the one you were showing today. If I didn't already have the KK I would probably get one.
If the price is right that's a steal of a deal instead of buying a front bucket if your on a budget or just need an extra carrying capacity
What is old is new again. Except the old ones were much heavier duty.
Made in Canada Great news 🙂
Top shelf!
Excellent idea!
I have one of the old-school 'dirt scoops' (reversible drag or push to scoop) which gets a lot of use and have a few jobs it would be nice to have the width of this split-fire.
Use it with the top link in the tractors bottom hole. It will work much better
Good tip
That tool is going to be a huge seller!
I think so too Terry, well built product
That'd be real good for moving piles of landscape mulch. Prob more capacity than a bucket
Made by *"Merci Buckets"* yes you will say thank you to us these ones'ies are a two-fer!
I'm curious how low it can be adjusted. I have a fairly high 3-point. It's in range for most items but like when I borrowed my neighbor's disk I could only get about 2" depth.
Thank goodness i have a loader
Very cool carryall. That would be very useful for my upcoming cleanup after our ice storm, hey Split-Fire I'm in Canada wink wink 😉🙂
Haha, there ya go!
We call them here in ireland a transport box there very handy we have them about 50 yrs or more
Super handy tool for sure
@@GoodWorksTractors they are we would use them for feeding cattle picking stones fencing you name it there very handy
That’d work good for spreading compost over a large area with the tailgate. Just tip it down and drive.
Definitely would work well
Still looking forward to the box- plane. By summit
They should have it available fairly soon
Just looking at it, instead of a pull cord to dump the load, I think fabricating a hydraulic mount would make that a big game changer, especially for anyone that wants that and has a cab.
Great demo Courtney. Split Fire makes good solid quality equipment. Cheers!
thanks Gord, hope all is well!
did i miss the announcement for who won the grease guns for the month of March?
Now install a grapple like the one on the bucket!
That would be handy with a hydraulic top link.
Needs a little tweaking but a damn good idea.
Perfection is the enemy of good.
One thing to think about is that compact tractors have limited volume in the loader bucket
Definitely so, much more 3 point capacity generally speaking
Do they make a hydraulic dump option?
I'm not aware of one.
@@GoodWorksTractors
Thanks for getting back to me.
I think that would be so handy.
Great video 🙂
A hydraulic toplink would give it more range for curl and tilt when using it as a bucket.
Hydraulic top links are one of the best add-ons ever. I just ordered one for the Summit.
Woo, hoo. I can finally take the girlfriend with me. Wait....what is the weight rating?
Uh oh!!
Does it have a "cutting edge"????
Yeah, just like your loader bucket.
If you dont have a bucket up front, it beats a shovel! Seriously, i could use it with my bucket too!
Most definitely
As always great review
Carry the tools!!🤣
For sure!
Quick question:: did I miss the winners list of your last giveaway, or haven't you selected the winners yet??
We're behind, winners will be announced soon though!
@Good Works Tractors thanks, no rush just thought I might have missed it and I would hate to lose just because I didn't see it and contact you. Thanks again.
I would be slick if you can back into a mulch pile and fill it.
You can definitely do that... the same way it backed into the pile of dirt
How hard is it to put on?
If you have a quick hitch like we did, you back up to it and raise your 3 pt and close the arms on your quick hitch. So as easy as it gets!
Be good to have a hydrologic option
I really wish they has a hydraulic dump option.
Yeah, not an option as far as I know
What about using a hydraulic top link as suggested above?
Looking at it- the tilt angle is wrong.
Needs an electric actuated latch.
wouldn't you want to not scoop stuff up backward? I've seen some videos where they say the 3 point is to pull, not push with.
Box blades, rear blades, landscape rakes....you push with many tools on the three point. However, you do want to use caution and not ram things unnecessarily that could cause damage. Same thing can be said using the loader pushing forward though.

IE take your product and allow you to mount it from the other side.
Thanks for the reply, Good Works Tractors. @Jay it would be cool if you could hook it up to the quick attachment and the three point.
The old school one were designed to hook either way to pull or push
How much?
Only about $2,400. Out the door with tax and shipping
Here's the link split-fire.com/us/-/carry-all-us/
@@georgea6403 OUCH! Spendy little attachment. Too much for my uses. I would use it, but not enough to justify the expense.
2+k for a back bucket? Pass.
