Good Works Tractors is happy to be sponsored by Rim Guard Solutions! This is perhaps the most well-known ballast brand on the market today. Rim Guard goes right inside your tires, so it's out of the way, it doesn't freeze, and doesn't corrode. It's made from natural materials, so it's safe around livestock and pets if it spills out. Rim Guard liquid ballast adds more weight to the back side of your tractor improving stability, loader performance, and power to the ground. Find your closest dealer at bit.ly/3d0whX0

I appreciate that. I feel like most of the products I sell really sell themselves. I just get eyeballs on them. The challenge is finding those "no brainer" products out there that check all (or enough of) the boxes such as quality, features, versatility, pricing, warranty, etc. It seems like it'd be easy and I wish it were, but it's quite a challenge to sift through the thousands of manufacturers and products on the market.

In regard to sickle mowers I will say that for clean areas they can mow a lot very quickly. I have a 9ft I and J double action bar and the double action bar really helps provide a clean cut at high speeds. As you mentioned there are lot of areas where they aren't a good option but if you want to mow open areas or have a cheap way to cut hay they are a good way to go in my experience.

I have converted two implements to ssqa. It's normally about a week and a half job. And that is from someone who went to welding school and has an engineering background. Doing one on a small tractor would be a lot easier. I did mine on a small wheel loader and that was a trick. It would be hard to offer a kit because every machine is so different. I think every one would need to be custom made to the machine, so those would be hard to sell.

It’s funny you mention an airport. I used to work at an FBO at a small county owned airport that were responsible for plowing the taxiways and runways. However, we were responsible for getting snow away from the hangar/building and away from the in ground fuel farm otherwise the plow would shear the caps right off. We had a John Deere 2025r I believe and we got all kinds of attachments because we were right down the road from their testing facility. Courtney, I’m looking for a combination root rake and grapple combo for my LX2610. I already have a third function and there are so many options out there. It’s main use will be to remove downed limbs and removing thick thorns and honeysuckles on the sides of the woods and lane. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Edit: I’ve never been a big fan of quick hitch attachments. The quick hitch isn’t as universal as it claims to be and you end up having to mess around with it just as much as just hooking whatever attachment you have to the 3 point. But I only use my box blade and tiller with my 3 point, I have a mid mount mower so I don’t have to swap out attachments often.

I can’t sell Woods. They only sell to certain OEM. I’ve tried.

@Good Works Tractors there's a dealer near me that used to sell Mahindra tractors, now only sells Ferris, Exmark, Grasshopper, Stihl. Maybe some other minor stuff. He's a Woods dealer now also as of a little over a year ago. They dropped Mahindra about the same time that they picked up Woods.
