Chris, this turned out so unexpectedly awesome. A jiggle into a bit of a Dutch pour.... wow, the results are so original and capture my eye. Do some more like this!! 💜
As Gilly Kube says, "Your art. Your rules." The only person you have to please is you 😊 That being said, I adore Dutch pours and love the sharpness of your petals and the gradation of color you achieved! It is so different from either a traditional Dutch pour or a traditional straight jiggle, and in some weird way it works! It's as if a beautiful flower grew out of a galaxy! It also doesn't hurt that purple is my favorite color 💜 💜💜
LOL! Thank you for the great comment! It looked to me as though something was bursting forth from the canvas, though I couldn't seem to articulate it! 😘
I really liked it at first…then I LOVED it! I need to work at staying with it longer until I get something I am really happy with! Thanks for the inspiration, Chris!
@@ChrisJeszeck I've dyed my hair often in a red color and i love 🐝 But no it's a name of a song 😊 but you can call me Chantal. Greetings from the Netherlands!
Love how daring you are. If it doesn't look right you just keep going. I LOVED the end result. The geometric shapes looked great and the colors were beautiful too. White frame looks better than black on this one, I think.
Chris this is stunning and what a fabulous idea! The pour underneath gives depth and the blown portion looks so striking 😍 Would love to see you do more of these 😁✌
I actually did the opposite of this last nite. It turned out really wild. Wish I could post it. But you’re very adventurous. I like it both ways. Lovely colors. 🙂
What a nice way to wake up this am. Got my coffee and watched you paint! Lovely. Except for the tangerine, these are not colors I would ordinarily use but they played really well together. Would never have thought to do the Dutch pour. Love it!! Thought the end result was gorgeous! Thanks for sharing! Be well. ❤️
You posted this in the middle of the night for me, so I couldn't jump right on it. So I'm sat watching it at 6.30am just after my alarm went off. I love these colours together. Really smooth combo! And I'm glad you blew out the ribbons! Dutch pour over a straight jiggle... I need to try this! Loved the end result, from my perspective of course lol. 😘😍
I actually kept watching, curiosity killed me 😂 and I'm so glad I did 👏👏👏 loveeeee the final result!!! Amazing piece, thank you for your video, I will try to make this gorgeous deep purple, I thought it was so beautiful!!🥰 good night here in israel💕
Omgsh it really does look like a small black cat in there!! I really really love this one Chris!! I liked it before the Dutch part but I knew whatever you had in mind would turn out great, and it totally did!! It turned out SO cool!!! I love the color palette too!! Oh and also I really like the white frame with it!! But the black looks good as well!! Love your frames they are so perfect for the shallow canvases!
Love the colors, love the deep purple you mixed up, love the Southwest feel, love the humor you typed on the screen. I’m not faint of heart at all when it’s not my painting. 😂😁😂. I love it after the blow out. It reminds me of a beautiful Venus flytrap flower. Maybe an ice cave at sunset. It’s really pretty. I bet one of your dark frames will really set this off.
I liked it before the blowout, but then I *loved* it. It gave it such depth and that purple color is beautiful. My favorite part is where the blowout goes into the end of the ring pour, with the little wisps going into that negative space. Like seaweed or plant life going into a cave.
Love the colors! That deep purple is amazing. I wonder if you did a ribbon pour over the frame only with the colors you used in the painting what outcome that would provide.. Just popped into my head .. lol sorry probably a silly idea but
The first result, I thought was nice. I was nervous about your second pour, but I do understand the courage of forging ahead. It was gorgeous after the blowout. To me, it then looked overstretched. The final results were good though.
I thought you had ruined it when you started to pour more paint on it. But, I really like the way it turned out. And I think maybe a white frame works best. Love that custom color!
Chris, there are certainly some very pretty parts to this piece. I imagine sometimes it’s hard to be conversational when working on composition 🤔. ❤️,Pam
You know I will always tell you what I think Chris....I didnt particularly like the first pour but thats a colour preference for me..I dont like pastels🤭 but I do love purple and black!! They are my favourites. I can see it in a purple or silver frame or maybe a white one with some purple wave stripes or a light smudge or smear of purple. I think the 'cat' looked more like a 'skunk' (sorry Chris) with the same face but the wavy tail looked more brush like than feline. Btw was the initial word you were looking for 'comparable'?. It was certainly different Chris thanks as always and have a great weekend🤗💜
Well, you did warn us about the 'Wild Ride!' so we can't really complain. The final result is certainly interesting, but me...? I would have probably stopped at the 12:15 mark.
Ps..Chris Gilly Cube from Queensland in Oz always uses glue as her medium her mix is 350 mls and 150 water and she mixes using warm water. This is sometimes the mix I use too, cant say I have too much cracking and if I do I cant remember which medium I used at the time...maybe this is different to your mix😘
For my own pieces, I tend to choose a frame of a color that is more of an accent in the painting instead of one of the predominant ones... in my opinion it sets off the main colors really well 😊
I like both those ideas! I love to get creative with art I am keeping. For selling, however, I tend to go with black or white. The buyer can replace or paint it if they so choose. 😊
This is beautiful....the blow out added a different dimension that I love and since I'm into mysterious looking things I'd go with the black frame!♥
Yes, I like the black as well. Thanks for watching!
I love ❤️ the finished painting, adding the ribbons of color and knocking out that peachy-orange was an amazing idea!!
Thanks so much!! The more adventurous seemed to like it! LOL!
Chris, this turned out so unexpectedly awesome. A jiggle into a bit of a Dutch pour.... wow, the results are so original and capture my eye. Do some more like this!! 💜
I think it will become my go to just before scraping! You never know what you'll get! 😘
Beautiful how you combined different techniques- I love it!!
Thank you very much, Cheronda! 😘
Wowzers that frame adds so much to the painting. Either color works. Thank You for sharing with us.
My pleasure...thanks for watching! 😘

Amazing result. Amazing amazing Amazing. You have created a new technique 😁😁😁
Thank you!! 😘💕😘
I really like it. I either scrape or paint over if I'm not happy with a painting, but I like your idea much better!
I usually hit with rain x as a last resort, but I may try this first from now on! You never know!
Awesome, it looks so nice with the white frame. Beautiful 💖💖💖 off to watch your frame video 🥰😁
Yes, I prefer the white frame as well. Thanks for watching, Tish! Time for me to go see what you've been up to! 😘
@@ChrisJeszeck 💖💖💖😁😁
The combination of the two techniques produced a very unique painting. Love the colours and the movement.
Thank you! I appreciate the encouragement! 😘
I really enjoyed your commentary! The piece is beautiful & I’m going to attempt those colors today.
Great! Thanks for watching and have fun with it!
Looks like a giant Iris to me. Beautiful!
I saw an iris also...
Yes, I can see that, too, especially turned upsidedown. 😊
It brings to mind a fold in time. It's very cool!😊💜💜💜💜💜
I love that interpretation! Thanks, Tera! 😘
It is beautiful. Beautiful before you blew and beautiful after.
Thank you, Linda! It's growing on me!
Wow! I really, really love this idea of combining the two techniques. Can't wait to try it! 💖
Good to hear! Have fun with it and thanks for watching!
LOVE the final finish.
I think I like it better in the end!? Thanks for watching!
Chris this is absolutely Gorgeous! Love it ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thanks, Deborah! It seems the reviews are mixed, but I think it's more interesting with the blow out!
I truly like the way it turned out. It added a little dimension to the piece. 😊
It really does look like it's popping right out of the canvas, I think! Thanks!

The PPDR! Lol! Thanks for watching, Ann!
I really like it after the blow out. Great experiment.
Thanks, Carrie! It will be my new go to for so-so pours! 😊
Before the blow out i loved it. But after it turned out so amazingly beautiful 😍
The colors and composition are gorgeous 💜
Thank you! Your humble servant, Christine. 😘
