Nice bro ! I have a Tao dbx1 and I made a mistake a put the wrong oil in ! I changed the oil but it’s doing the same as yours now , no compression. I hope it works ! But yea I loves this bike ❤️
Bro you have no idea how much this helped my sprocket carrier sheared off and locked up my chain into my engine case destroyed the engine case but the clutch gave in and it was the gold plate that had moved i took off that nut unscrewed the adjuster screw put it back in all way until it meets the pressure pin stuck the nut back on and hey prest i have clutch and it is so good thank you bro
I’m pretty sure that’s a compression release mechanism. These 4-strokes have so much compression they would break your ankle and very often the kick starter shaft without compression release. I just bought a 1989 Yamaha XT350 where the previous owner didn’t have the compression release cable hooked up and broker the kick starter shaft right off. First thing I did was buy a new compression release cable and kick start shaft. Works fine now

same here mines been sitting for a few weeks because i was waiting on a new carberator and mine has zero comprassion. but the cover plate is torqued on and i cant take it off🥲
So i put on a new carb, started right up, turned off to take carb off to idle down, hooked back up n it hasnt started since, even put old carb on n new plug, before i couldn't kick start with my hand, now i can? could this be my issue or no

I got my DB17 in late 2019 for $750 shipped, and it's been doing great! I wrecked it pretty badly, but surprisingly it didn't mess up or scratch the bike. The only thing that broke was the bolt that connects to the swing arm, which is cheap to replace. I also had to get a swing arm spacer, cause it lost that too. But honestly, it's been holding up great considering I'm a motocross rider who rides the hell out of bikes!
i just filled my coolster (wit gas) its a pit bike but crazy thing is it wont start i thought it was i had no gas (which i didint) but come to find out it wasnt even that im tryna ride around this summer on that bitch hopefully this works tbh cause nun was wrong wit the bike

This could cause it. Try loosening the bolt like the video. What bike is itv
Don't do that! You never have to much compression! If you loosen the clutch bolt your clutch plates won't survive long
Mine only has compression on top dead Center and nothing on the next kick
