OMG I held a Goliath beetle one time and it legitimately weighed like 10lbs. I was staying in a lodge in the rainforest in Belize, and some of the girls in the next cabin over started screaming bloody murder and calling my name, so I came to see what was up and they needed me to get rid of a huge bug that was on their floor. You forgot to mention that only young specimens have been seen, and the size of adults have been estimated by measuring the only remain you can find of colossal and giant squids: their beaks. The video made it look it wasn't that big because it was probably a baby squiddo
