That's a pretty cool business card idea for a model train shop, having the gauges right on the metal card. Beats the hell out of a fridge magnet you'll probably never glance at again.
I change out both couplers and trucks.I use Kadee scalehead couplers. And I use trucks with rotating roller bearing caps.Scaletrains Tangent Kato and Athearn Genesis.😊When done. The cars look great.
Gotta say I'm not a fan of the Walther's Auto Racks. It's not just the detail, I have 4 or 5 and they all are poor performers. Easy to derail pulling or pushing, my corners are 28" and up and min #6 turnouts. Mine are all a few years old now so maybe the new ones track better? I have about a dozen Intermountain ones and they perform perfectly and look a lot better. Mine are relegated to the storage box now.
These new ones are the Proto line which do have more details and features. Have you weighed yours? Perhaps they need some more weight? Thanks for watching and have a good day!
@@Trains.Harleys.and.a.C10 Yes, tried many things, different wheels, trucks, couplers. But looking close at your models they seem a lot more detailed than my older Walthers Auto Racks, maybe it's time to try a couple of the new ones as they are a lot cheaper than the Intermountain ones.
$12-15 doesn't sound awful...considering that the last time I bought stock, it was $3.99, a little over 25 years ago. $50, after $20 off???...and NOT for a loco???...that's ba-F'n-nanas!!!

A good locomotive is $300 now. Everything at the grocery is twice what it was a couple years ago. Times we live in.
