There Were Way More Fish Than I Thought...

- Hit the beach late afternoon one day and found the Bass were biting pretty good, catching a dink, a little nicer one, and losing one all in the first 20 minutes, before the bite completely shut off. Went the next day, Lucas joined, while he plucked a few on artificial, I sat on the chunk and learned that there were quite a few fish present that just weren’t interested in artificials. I started with a proper chunk rig which was too heavy for these smaller fish, but once I switched it up and put on the right rig, I caught several fish.

You’re on a posting roll and I appreciate it !!👍🏻
Chris never misses an opportunity to take a jab at the retrieve speed of the VS haha. Tight lines brother.
Heck yeah Sea-Money love all your fishy content lately! Happy to see you did well after some adversity on the beach recently. Tight Lines man!!
always been tempted to try the chunk on those beaches in the fall when there’s 40 pounders in the breachway rips
Thanks Sir! Love your channel!
You are one of the best fishing angler
Gota love when ya can't get your rod in the rod holder never fished saltwater striper but I've caught em in the rivers and lakes here in Oklahoma good fun right there 😊
good stuff chris, keep it up
Awesome video thanks!
Great video. It's great to see a fish in the surf. it's been tough so far this year. I've been catching a lot of rats. Not many blues can wait for the fluke to start in the surf
yep pretty slow for the most part.. still havent seen the blues show up
Nice adjustment. Wondering how long a keeper striper is there. Here in Ca. it's 18" state wide.
Try Daichi circle hooks! I love them, the gamas are ok, trokars are amazing but super small for rating, the daichis are stellar
Shadow surf rod for the win 🏆
Mackerel are a great bait and not bad fileted and breaded, fried and simmering in tomato sauce.
Perfect fly rod day.
chunking those south shore beaches in RI can be finicky, you really need to be on them. Ive gotten fish on a chunk right outside the wash not far from shore. I usually use fresh bunker and 3oz weights.
I’m from ri and am new to saltwater fishing, where are some good spots for bass and blues?
@@melvinshaw8249I was born in Hartford Connecticut and we had a cottage on Misquamicut beach growing up. We moved to Colorado in 91’ but I remember catching blues and stripers right off the beach. But I remember the best fishing being off of watch hill, weekapaug breachway, Charlestown beach and Charlestown breachway.
juicy session
If you make your way down to NJ stop along the way the real blues and proper bass are chewing good. Had an epic day today actually.
nice, I wish I could
There's always room for a small sharpening stone.
Hook points get broken and worn down on sand and rocks, mostly. I've seen hook points bent by an albie tooth. Hardtails have hard teeth.
Awesome content, subbed! Would this beach happen to be in Charlestown by chance?
yep
Cheers mate i enjoy from a once beautiful little country new Zealand
Are you Canadian?
You always say something that makes me laugh this time it was “for a little added bonus” 😂
What size kast master are you using ?
2oz
My boy still has that ice chest lol! i love it
I cant believe I still have that thing haha
@@ChrisMcIntee man I’ve been watching you for years and you’ve had for as long as I can remember! Love the videos dude
Well if it isn't the Mississippi redfish mangler himself. Your channel is criminally underrated.
@@jazzfeline5970 what up my brother!!! Man I appreciate that lol I just make my videos and do my thing! God bless you

Do tides effect your fishing when your on the beach ,, If it does ,,,what would be the Ideal tide to fish...??
it certainly does, and its different beach to beach, state to state, season to season. So far this year fishing this beach, I havent noticed any pattern to the tide... one day theyre there, the next theyre gone. 2 hours before to 2 hours after the turn of either high or low would be my preference to fish any spot, but its highly variable depending on time, location, species
Time to throw bucktail
South Jersey 25 is a decent fish.
This video was heavy on the "chunk" content! 😆❤
Nothing like CHUNKINGgarbage man style
Any Boston Mackrell?
those are boston mackere yes
We used to get a run of Boston mackerel in April in the ny bight. They would come in huge schools with whiting. All the party boats would go for them. Then in May they would be chased away by bluefish. Striped bass were scarce 30:01
Why not live line one of those mackerel
I shoulda
Nice c
Did homie.... Eat the seaweed off your line?
not sure what he did but yes
You would do better to spike that rod with a big circle hook. Let the fish hook themselves, thats the purpose of circle hooks. But you know that.
IM me and I’ll bring you out from Pt. Judy
Hey Chris! good to see ya doing vid's, were hitting stripers and blues pretty well at the shore. Tight lines bud and thanks for sharing, A quick shout out to my long time buddy Rich, fished next to him for 40 years on the beaches of Ortley and Seaside, he passed this year. He's in your video back in 2016 nov 21st on a monday to be exact. 21:28..ruclips.net/video/bf-8OUI4PQs/видео.html
Sorry to hear, I’ll go back and check that vid out
Odd question…. Are you just wearing stocking foot waders without boots ? It doesn’t look like you have wading/boots/shoes on 🤣
theyre boot foot, the dark colored neoprene matches the boot color so prob hard to tell
Fishing with blunt hooks is pointless 😂
GROAN! 🙄
those blunt hooks worked fine this time around
Translate turkish please
Are you allowed to keep any of the fish? Because you literally never harvest any fish 😂
you are allowed to keep one yes I keep a couple each year
