- In this video I show you how I installed bonnet lifters for my MK2 Golf bonnet. For me it was a super easy plug and play install, but there may be differences for right hand drive Golfs or later models. Mine is a 1984 1.6 petrol left hand drive, so CE1 19E.
I got mine here: www.heritagepartscentre.com/u...
Official instructions here (includes drilling): www.heritagepartscentre.com/m...
The instructions I used (no drilling): www.vwgolf-mk2.com/espeedlifti...
Hope you enjoy! This is well worth it in my opinion. - Авто/Мото

BTW dude dont use a car cover , even if its waterproof it will trap moisture from the air under it and cause mold paint to sweat. oh and we changed the spring on my bnnet latch in an earler video. i can drop the link if you want
Oh sweet yeah that link would be helpful!
I actually thought about that with this car cover at first too but this cover seems to breathe very well. I tested it by spraying the car with water first and then putting the car cover on immediately afterwards (so with the car wet) and after a few hours the car was completely dry. Also even after 2 weeks of really heavy rain (average Dutch weather) it was completely dry! It's also just for 3 months only in winter when I don't drive it and I take the cover off at least once a week so any moisture that would be under it probably evaporates in that time too so I think it should be good.
@@1600GL oh sue what cover is that you have sounds like a good one.
@@MK2GolfStories I don't really remember sadly, I bought it a few years ago, was a tip from a friend. I do remember that it definitely wasn't the cheapest haha
Can i have the product link
It's in the description!
