"The wiper said no" Yeah that basically sums up my experience with my own Twingo. That rear wiper always breaks somehow, and it is an absolute nightmare to take apart.
There is actually an aftermarket third brake light option for the ph4 Twongi, it just happens to be a fugly Altezza-style clear one with individual LEDs.
Omfg I have the exact same rear license plate light on my mk2 clio. I also have had the exact same reaction to a bad bulb that you did lol. I've been checking the damn thing every few months to see if it still works. What the hell was Renault thinking designing that Edit: i had to disassemble the front windshield wiper engine thingy, which gave me the same grief you got on the rear one. My persuadinator was a crowbar and a new windscreen however. Edit: I have AC on the clio, but the magnetic bearing has gone on holiday for the last 6 years. Having that much space to work makes me jealous (god this video gives me ptsd flashbacks of all the nonsense I have had with my silly french nugget 😂)

We had one of these driving blue things, inspection was always fun, every time before they have checked it we had to spray anti-corrosion spray under the seat for the airbag light to turn off for a couple of days. Always fun.
Have seen good results elsewhere on youtube where somebody's 3d printed car light plastics, not entirely unlike your dash cluster work there. May be a worthwhile option if Renault don't get back to you on that 3rd brake light. Clear filament may work but resin print-on-demand services are getting pretty good for the money these days.
My only regret is not having AC in my Twingo; otherwise, I love this car! Recently, I was thinking of buying a new, modern car, but these videos have rekindled my love for this little nugget. Thank you :)
