Do not watch live action show until you complete this one. They have parts from later seasons in the first few episodes of the new show. This show is way more important to experience fresh. Please wait to watch the live action version
Aang from the show was a 12 year old from the 2000's .... this Aang is a Greta thumberg 12 year old. That tone of "i have an idea!, adults should do better, just like me!" And they learn their morality from Cocomelon. Stfu Aang.

I met his voice actor at his first con ever last year and he was just as awesome as you hope he'd be 😊. Just super nice, and if that weren't enough he also donated all the money he made that weekend to charity. I heard he got to reprise his role in the live action, and regardless of the overall final product (I haven't seen it yet) I'm really happy he got that opportunity
I know he is a legend but before I started seeing reactions and online discussions about the Cabbage man I was annoyed by it. I mean I found it funny but I more or less got frustrated on his behalf and thus was always annoyed when I was younger.
Seriously recommend not watching live action until you finish the whole series. Also, fun fact the voice actor for the cabbage guy is playing the cabbage guy in the live action series
i just finished the live action, idk if you watched it yet but i would advise to wait until you have seen this. there are some season 2 and 3 stuff they put into the first season and its better to see it in the original first
@@moonlitskylight5740 I feel like it'd be better later, anyways. SO MANY people are already doing the live action, they'll be competing for views against all of them. And their reactions will have better insights on the live action because they've seen the whole animated show. These guys really need to wait for the live action because it make their reaction to it much much much better and will have less competition from others releasing the same reactions at the same time.

@Marfy_ you will only know that it's next season things if you fully watched the original so I suggest finishing season 1 of the original before thinking of watching the live action netflix show that just released

Notable voice actors in Ep. 6: - George Takei as The Warden. George Takei became a legend portraying Lieutenant Hikari Sulu in the original Star Trek. - Kevin Michael Richardson as Tyro, Haru's father. He is known, among many many roles, as the voice of the Mauler Twins in "Invincible". He also voices a few other significant characters in the ATLA universe.
The lettuce leaf/let us leave pun always gets me, I use every chance I get to reference it Also the cough whenever it’s silent kills me too, the episode is so comedic for no reason
Interesting relevant fact about ep 5. George Takei was the wardens VA, he is also one of the few American actors that was actually in an internment camp much like the one in this episode. True irony and reality of the ideas portrayed in the show. I also cant wait until you see The Storm.
I love that you guys are digging the show even right now. I think the next two episodes, 7 and 8 are where I TRULY got hooked. You guys haven't even hit the best parts of even Book 1, and Book 2 and 3 are generally considered stronger than Book 1. The fact that you're already loving the show is such a good sign for the future.
As most people have already said in the comments, please watch the entire animated show before trying the live action. It’s a far better experience this way.
The cabbage merchant was supposed to be just for the one episode but everyone loved him so much that he does pop up a few more times in later episodes.
This show absolutely has one of the best evolution of a story line and character development as well as probable on of the best endings absolutely amazing 👏 🤩
You have to finish season two to stay ahead of the Netflix show because the mixed a lot of the first two seasons and show you characters you aren’t supposed to know yet.
Someone may have commented this already but the Bison are the American bovine species. Buffalo are the ones with horns that look like a mustache on their heads. Like the bad guy from Kung Fu Panda 3 is a Buffalo.

And, don't listen to those saying the live action series is bad. My daughter and I have watched the first two episodes and so far it's pretty good. We had to promise each other we wouldn't watch the other episodes without the other being present. I think some people think it was going to be a shot by shot identical live action. Many good shows start off slowly and gain traction. The original animated show takes a few episodes to get the ball rolling. BTW, around episode The Storm, this series takes off. It's still will have plenty of cool content and visuals for kids, but the adult themes start to get heavily used. There are a ton of scenarios with no completely right or wrong ways to go. Just like life.
I liked the first two episodes of the live action but I’ve been struggling since episode 3. They mixed up so many storylines leaving out the original moral lessons of the storylines. They also changed characters from season two and added them in season one. Still watching and giving a chance but I definitely liked episode one and two of the remake the best so far.

Good ear on the voice actor for the dad. Yes, same actor does the Mauler Twins, Kevin Michael Richardson. He has been in almost every animation show. Nearly 600 acting credits. Also of note, the Warden was played by Star Trek cast member, George Takei. Looks like he will have a role in the live action show too. Lastly this was directed by Dave Filoni, the guy behind the Mandalorian, Star Wars Rebels, Bad Batch, Ahsoka. The Last Airbender was his first show he worked as a director - the start of his entertainment career. He turns 50 this year.
