The famous Judengasse Frankfurt

From its inception in the 15th century built to fit for 11 families around 100 people , quickly became overcrowded and densely populated. The city council never gave them permission to expand . From these streets great Jewish minds continued to study and immerse themselves in the sea of the Talmud snd Kabbalah.
