Still retaining the 2010 Honda City (V). No headaches and also a fun to drive car. Do yearly service (comes around 4K for service), fill petrol and drive. The German kids with turbo, dual clutch etc. will be fun to drive for an year or two but could burn your pocket with mechanical issues and mar the ownership experience in the long run. Toyotas are very reliable but bland to drive. Therefore, if you intend to buy and keep a fun to drive car for a longer window and wishes a hassle free ownership experience, then this is the car to go for. If you have to drive it in a spirited mode, use paddlers (in AT) and lower the gear to 2 or 3 and floor the accelerator. This engine has to be revved to take it to the peak RPM band where the max power is delivered. You can easily take it to 80 KMPH in 2nd gear and 100 KMPH in 3rd gear. When the engine is revving, oh boy ! 4 adults on board with full luggage and AC on will not make any difference to the performance. Cons: 1) low slung and so difficult to get in for elderly to get in and out, which is a common problem for all sedans 2) 2010 model has a soft rear suspension tuning and feels a bit wavy at speeds above 100, if road is undulated. I heard suspension has been made more stiffer in latest models 3) 2010 model has low ground clearance. This seems not to be a problem in newer models
I own a 2022(2020 5th gen) city. It is marginally stiffer and now there is zero issue with ground clearance and getting in and out. Very stable at even 140-150. I have very recently upsized tyres and got Micehlins. The car now feels like a Civic with the upgrades

Honda City is one my favourite but the Honda Civic and Toyota Corolla will be dearly missed. I agree that they lacked features, were overpriced and weren't as fun to drive as Slavia or Virtus but the low and tension free maintenance more than made up for it including their solid reliability and high durability.
According to my books this car has everything except that one feature that is ventilation seat. Honda has been already providing ventilated ready seats but dont know why ventilation is not there.
nothing in all generations of the honda city comes close to the first/ second gen ( 1998/99 and the VTEC that came soon after) .. it was leagues ahead in driving pleasure and handling than the ones that came after
Brother the infotainment system of honda is worst gets bubble and touch screen stops working pls make a video on this problem, honda is cutting corners on this aspect
In the comparison reviews this has faired better at handling than the slavia and the virtus as well. I just feel that youtubers who dont invest in real time tests reiterate the same views as of their fellow youtubers

Cons:
1) low slung and so difficult to get in for elderly to get in and out, which is a common problem for all sedans
2) 2010 model has a soft rear suspension tuning and feels a bit wavy at speeds above 100, if road is undulated. I heard suspension has been made more stiffer in latest models
3) 2010 model has low ground clearance.

Very well explained, currently driving a 2014 Diesel Honda city ,driven 210000 km mostly in city conditions. Almost 60 km per day. Is hybrid a good option by paying the extra amount?
Provided you don't carry much luggage
Intros are leveling up ⬆️⬆️⬆️🆙🆙🆙
Hi bro...why does it lag under full load while overtaking ...had to shift down the gear ..
nothing beats the Honda IVTEC Engine and its reliability ...just go for it
I don't like the design of this city old ones were better
Which tyres u suggest for honda city??
I own 2020 model i want to upgrade.. kindly suggest.
Help is much appreciated.
I loved the Steering wheel design.. it's pretty
The 4th Generation City shall remain one of the best creations of Honda.
Guys guys guys. ! Please don't choose brand Honda
Cause you don't get the freedom of servicing the vehicles of your own choice
And you won't get the parts as well
If else you want to service you will have to go to company itself
Honda is creating monopoly in the market which is not free for all
Also it affects your cars resale value
What happened Chethan? Please share your story?
Which one is better....manual or CVT ?? Please advise
Sir, please suggest one car in the range of maximum ₹15 lakhs on road. Confused between sedan and suv. Few choices are: Brezza, Grand Vitara, Hyryder, Kushaq, Taigun, City, Ciaz, Virtus, Slavia. Basic requirements: Mileage and safety.
You can go for kushaq
For car buying doubts, our experts recommend the Best Buy worth your money, after analysing your requirements. motoroctane.com/car-consultancy Click on this link & submit your query.

@@bhuvanb1762 kushaq best
Bhai new verna aa rhi h wait kro 21 march tk sedan sbse gazb ki car hogi sari sedan bhul jaoge ap..sb ek traf verna ek traf hogi ab...
Drove both slavia, virtus and city, slavia is far better placed. City needs a dashboard upgrade badly.
The front looks like Tiago. In my opinion the triple-chrome-lining grille front looked badass.
Dude seriously Tiago it looks more like a 3 series
First thing if I buy change the tyres to bit bigger size fuel efficiency is not big issue for me
Honda City is not a car but an emotion.
honda city has such a strong following that they launched a honda city suv (elevate )
Because this is "Honda city Jo hai Rani💞road ki "
This man is definitely informative
But faisal khan's energy>>
Nicely explained. Suggest Pricing aspects also to be included for a prospective buyer to take a decision on a new car purchase.
please bring sedan maha comparision
I remember my father bought civic for 12.5 lakhs in 2007. Waiting for civic to relaunch. Yeh sab toh bachiya hai.
Nahi hogi bhai. Laayi thi Honda ne. Phir se bandh kar di.
I beleive Honda engines have always been very frugal.....even my 2015 petrol manual returns a mileage of 21 in highways and 16 in the city traffic.
Still my personal fav. City & Scorpio.
According to my books this car has everything except that one feature that is ventilation seat. Honda has been already providing ventilated ready seats but dont know why ventilation is not there.
nothing in all generations of the honda city comes close to the first/ second gen ( 1998/99 and the VTEC that came soon after) .. it was leagues ahead in driving pleasure and handling than the ones that came after
I’m driving 2014 4gen Diesel SV model.
It’s driven 1.5 Lakh kms & doesn’t show any signs of aging.
Awesome car i sold my 3rd gen and purchase 4 gen but unfortunately prices are too high can't go for 5g
rust probelm hai; service cost is aalso too high / chor dealers hai.
love from Assam
Brother the infotainment system of honda is worst gets bubble and touch screen stops working pls make a video on this problem, honda is cutting corners on this aspect
In the comparison reviews this has faired better at handling than the slavia and the virtus as well. I just feel that youtubers who dont invest in real time tests reiterate the same views as of their fellow youtubers
which one to buy honda city or verna for bangalore city of daily 50 km travel?
