- Started in 2005, this Halloween tradition has evolved into the fabulous and unbelievable display it is today. Inspired by Disneyland Anaheim’s Pirates of the Caribbean display, this is a compilation of our favorite scenes as well as new additions from the POTC movies. We do not work for Disney, we have made pretty much everything you will see in this video, we do not charge admission, and it takes us an incredibly long time to setup. A true labor of love of two individuals that are passionate about attention to detail. Experiencing this in person is the only way to truly grasp the level of detail and work that this display requires.
Halloween night is the best night of all as the display comes to life with characters/cast members staged throughout the display. A true sight to see! You will be transported to Disneyland for a brief moment and forget about where you are. One if not the best POTC displays ever! Unlike anything you have scene before other than the Disneyland ride itself. I hope you enjoy what you see. Happy Halloween!

This is going viral on TikTok and is amazing. One of the dads at school used to do an elaborate haunted house and he ended up getting hired by Disney as an Imagineer. This is amazing and the detail and coordination of all the parts is beyond my comprehension. ♥️
Thank you for your kind words. This is 17 years in the making with a lot dedication and creative solutions in trying to replicate the original with everyday products available to all or simple art techniques learned in elementary school. It is an immersive experience that is beyond what the video shows and some of the comments on TikTok about being rich are ridiculous as I came from a poor immigrant family that worked 3x as hard as others to be able to make a living. ❤

That is truly incredible. Funny how Pirates of the Caribbean was originally designed to be a wax museum walk through at Disneyland before they made it a boat ride instead and you made it was it was originally intended. Very well made! 😃👍

Interesting tidbit here, a walk through attention was Captain Walt Disney's original idea for the Pirates.
Yes which is one of the bits of history we like to share when people come through it! Being true to the original concept to justify not having a boat take you through it lol although we did contemplate attempting it…

This past Saturday, this Sat Oct 28th, and Halloween night only. We setup and tear down after setup nights and do not have the time otherwise because of work. 😊

It’s a pieced together mechanism that consists of a misc gear head motor along with an arrangement of various copper tubes that are connected to each door panel.

Eastvale in Southern California. Between LA and Palm Springs, 30 min away from Disneyland.
How did you get the audio?
A friend gifted me a CD collection of every single complete Disneyland attraction and show that we were able to use. There some other segments that we downloaded like Davy Jone’s scene. We did have to do so audio clean up and separation of channels for the well scene though so that took a little effort.
