Hi Amjad, I think a 5w30 is a good place to start looking? But it's best to check your book as I'm guessing warmest and coldest temperatures can have an effect?
Hello! What size is the crush washer? I can't fidn this information anywhere and I'd like to have one before I drain the oil ;). Since the plug is 19mm hex i'm guessing it's something in the neighbourhood of 12 x 16 x 1.5mm.
Unfortunately I just asked the guy in the shop and his computer knew :) Sounds about right though, this thread has some part numbers: www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/498601-crush-washer-size-doing-oiloil-filter-change/
Hi! Your video is very helpful! But I wanted to ask: 1. Is it normal for the engine to sound strange right after you change the oil? 2. Does the oil icon appear on the dashboard of the car after you change the oil? 3. After changing the oil, do you immediately reset the service warning on the dashboard? Tank you for the video again!
Hello, Mine have always sounded the same afterwards?? Was there an unusually low level before you drained it or was it thick and sludgy? Oh, the red warning!? If you've refilled the level OK it should disappear after a few seconds. If it's stays on and your engine doesn't sound right turn it off quick and recheck everything. I reset the service warning once everything is good yes. All the best :)
Hi! Thanks for this great video. Here is another question for you. I have 1.0 TSI engine Rapid Spaceback and I can't find where "fuel filter" is located. Do you have any idea?
Hey! Thanks for the short helpful video. One question my step dad has concerns about. Does the motor leave any sediment? Anything that I’ll have to suck out? Or is it just good to go afterwards?
Hi, not sure. The drain is very close to the bottom so I'd hope that a few liters of flow would take the lighter stuff with it. I know people who would flush through a couple of liters of clean oil - letting it run straight out, but I've only ever done that on a vehicle of unknown service history.
Hi Dan, I think most newish engines have a breather on the crank case so it's maybe not as big a difference as it once was. If you are having the oil glug when draining it's probably is useful though.
Thats Amazing - Short & Straight Video to the Point !
Thanks 👍

Its in the tank as part of the pump assembly. Not a part of regular service. Only to be serviced if you get fuel of low quality.
@@andersskjoldager-gregersen3240 The same answer is given to me from different mechanic workers. Thanks for the answer.

I heard that it's good to remove the oil cap from the top in order to take air in the engine while the oil leaks on the bottom - it's true?

Great video man. It cost me £180 for servicing. I will do it myself
👍 Your service book often gives a list of jobs, air filters and spark plugs every few years as well :)
