Thank you to everyone who commented and left positive feedback. I truly appreciate it. People tend to forget real life happens when a camera isn’t rolling. It’s great that you have a wife that wants to be a part of the farm. I love my wife but we made an agreement right after we married that she needed to do something else, lol! Kelly is a farmer.
I watched a channel the other day from a you g farmer that’s learning. He was doing several things wrong but acted like he knew what he was doing. It was all I could do not to leave a negative comment. But I didn’t. I hope he learns on his own his mistakes.
Selling guidance myself I have found out the easiest way is to put an electric steering wheel on. Lot cheaper too.
what is great about your channel is you do not candy coat anything showing what really happens on your farm as well as it is educational to see how and why you farm that way you do. as they say one shoe does not fit all. I find Kelly a joy to listen to with her sense of humour. don't let anyone change you guys.

I love your channel. My 4yr old daughter, who wants to be a farmer when she grows up, loves Kelly (sorry Matt, kelly is her favorite)! She loves seeing a girl farmer “driving big trucks”. There are people who strive on trying to say negative things to bring people down. I don't care what they say to me but when it affects my family, that's when I tell them what they can do. Most of those kind of people don't know what they are talking about anyhow.

Sorry about the idiots commenting. Have no idea what has gone wrong with people. I enjoy the channel. I’m a farmer also and enjoy watching different practices. In west Texas we have to kill our cover crops early because we need to conserve moisture

I love yalls videos. If you work hard and do the best you can what do people expect of you? No body is Perfect.
Growing up on a cattle ranch in MT we know the importance of mom on the ranch/farm. Moms probably have the most talents of any member of the farm family. From cook bottle washer to heavy equipment operator, mechanic, taxi driver, nurser of the ill, planner, gardener, animal husbandry, and keeping the civility of the kids and and the crews.
I really enjoy learning the modern techniques of farming of the different crops. I Worked on a dryland wheat/barley here in the west on a large farm about 7000 acres of planted ground in the late 70s early 80 as well as on a combine harvest crew in the 80s. Wow how things have progressed in the last 40 years.
One of my favorite channels. I’d like to see how those making the comments would handle the situation. I’d say 75%+ of the population of the generation these days wouldn’t have a clue what to do. The amount of people who can’t change a tire is concerning

I have heard that solar flares can mess GPS up, as well as other communications using radio or satellite.
From what I’ve seen you all do a fantastic job of describing the process that you all go through and there are some people that have nothing else to do but tell someone else that they are doing a job wrong! You all just keep on doing it the way you want it done! Good luck!
I'm offended that anyone would be so low as to disrespect either one of you. Matt, I wouldn't hesitate to cut it off from the gate. If someone is being offensive, block them and then ignore them totally. That's what they want is an audience. Don't give it to them.
I'd like to know if those critical of kelly even have a partner to help them. I highly doubt it. Having a women that assists you in life like kelly does is priceless.

Matt and Kelly, I’m sorry to hear that those gutless folks that have DAS. Make derogatory comments about Kelly. I’m amazed at how hard she works and takes command of projects that most men wouldn’t even consider doing themselves. As for the video of her trip to North Dakota, just how many women would have the nerve, GUTS, to take that kind of trip yet alone handle the challenges she endured. When I was farming, my wife wasn’t able to do the physical work involved but she was there running for parts and making sure we had meals while operating a beauty shop in the house alone with running after our 4 kids who were involved in every activity available. That old saying from years ago still applies of screw them let them eat cake. Ya I cleaned that up. We farmed just south of Champaign, Illinois and our soil type is different from yours but I enjoy how your operation works. I sure would love to have had auto steer back then, I always said I got more seed in those crooked rows. LOL. We always pray for your family for a healthy and successful year. Boy it looks like it was drunk when i wrote this LOL. I can't stand anyone that bully's from behind a computer screen. The three of you are great together. I have learned a lot watching your channel, and one day hope to be able to work part time or volunteer on a farm. I love working outside and grew up on farms and in the country when i was young. Now being sick God has taught me that we all have a very short time on this earth, and that we should enjoy what is in front of us each day. Matt and Kelly I'm a seventy six year old farmer who started watching you on a TV show and have been watching you guys on utube for a few years now and I don't understand why you do some of the things that you guys do on occasion but if you were watching me do some of my maintenance and farming you would not agree with some of my decisions either but with this said that is your way of doing it and don't let the dumbasses who say the negative things we'll they probably don't have a general idea as to what they are doing anyway keep up doing what you are doing and Kelly my wife said that you are an amazing woman to take that road trip because she definitely won't have done that

I have a question if seed is so expensive is it possible to grow a seed crop of heirloom cotton that you can own, is the cost tradeoff of buying seeds worth it?
What do you use to do burn down in strip. I'm in Northeast Arkansas. Started growing a small amount of cotton. I need to get a little better at it.
