Federal judge threatens to hold Sessions in contempt of court

- A federal judge on Thursday erupted at the Trump administration when he learned that two asylum seekers fighting deportation were at that moment being deported and on a plane to El Salvador. DC District Judge Emmet Sullivan then blocked the administration from deporting the two plaintiffs while they are fighting for their right to stay in the US -- excoriating the administration and threatening to hold Attorney General Jeff Sessions in contempt.
Thank God there's still SOME checks and balances in this country
well it's getting to the point where the Trump admin is just going to stop obeying judicial rulings. trust me that will be the next step towards total fascism. they are already ignoring judicial orders to reunite immigrant children separated from their parents.
While keeping everyone distracted, trump has quietly appointed around 40 federal judges. This is your real danger. The Supreme Court is what everyone's worried about but they only see about 100 cases yearly. This is why the evangelists are holding their noses and supporting trump.
Jennie, you have identified the real horror of Trump and his minions. Those federal judges will be around for a long time and many are not qualified for their position and are simply fulfilling promises for money received for campaigns.
Most of them don't work anymore. Money talks and bull shit walks. The FBI and DOJ are owned by private concerns and do NOT represent "we, the people" anymore. Rage rises in me every time I hear the number of the children still separated from their parents. Not only because this is a large number of suffering children but also because I am CERTAIN the count is low and that there are children falling through the cracks not being counted and won't be helped. I do not believe anything T admin says! Outside agencies should make a search for these children and NOT believe the gov. There are more kidnapped children than the 5-600. This separation practice was going on before it became public. These children are SUFFERING!
