Just do what all RUclipsrs do .... set drag so low it sounds like you caught a monster .... instead of matching braking strain of the line you are using

Been playing around with drag washers my Dragon Carp Avanti reels for ages now. Never thought to look at that metal clip...Will do now.

There was no issue to begin with. Its just improving what's already good.

No need to remove it completely. Heat it up and let it cool down slowly, it won't be that hard after that, and you will have your clicks too.

It is not about the drag sound, but the drag setting sound/clicks
