    The Turbo S has an upgraded clutch to accommodate for the bigger wheels. The XP has the regular clutch with lighter wheels making it get that little better speed and acceleration. However both machines are awesome. I own the XP Turbo with wider offset wheels that gave me 70 inches. And the ride quality has improved way better than stock.

    Looks like the Turbo S handles the bumps way better than XPT. That Dynamix must be something else!!

      It is a huge difference! They are both awesome machines, but the suspension on the S is incredible!! (Better be, for the added cost!)

    Hope you checked out the vertical mine shafts at the top of the tailings hill. Also another bigger one as the bottom of the hills. Both covered with rebar but cool to go see.

      Those mines are pretty sweet, we always have to throw a rock or two down on every trip!!

      Ha ha! Going into it I figured he would beat me with the weight differences, but of course I was still a little disappointed!!! But.....the s's suspension is fantastic. Coming from a 15 xp4 1k (same Walker Evans suspension as the xp4 t) the difference in suspension is unreal!

      @@dhandmg oh yea I bet. I ride in the mud but I have the 2 seater 17xpt on the Fox suspension , I cant imagine what the S feel like. Cool vid tho it was good to see the comparisons.

      @@gio0829 Thanks! We are planning a couple more videos soon! I just put a stage 2 tune on my turbo s, so hopefully it will at least match my buddies now!! If not, onto stage 3😂
      That 2017 turbo is a sweet ride.... One of the best yrs with that fox suspension!!

      @@dhandmg if you were just driving on road and care about handling performance on the tarmac from the road only would you pick the turbo s with the dynamix or the standard without dynamix

    • @dhandmg
      @dhandmg 4 года назад

      @@hyphed4196 If its really only on road use, then I think I would save the $ and go for the velocity without dynamix.... Dynamix is awesome for smoothing out rough trails, then hit "firm" and slam through some whoops!! Don't see a benefit for on road over good ole clicker adjusters!

    Thanks for the comparison. I figured the regular turbo would be faster due to weight and tire size of the turbo s. Still very happy with my turbo s

      Can't compare to the turbo s, but I added RZR Aid spring tenders and the ride quality and suspension is much better in my 18 XP 4 turbo

    Ok I know they both have up and downs....but if you were riding mainly trails with lots of mud at time what machine would you pick?

    • @dhandmg
      @dhandmg 5 лет назад +1

      Tight trails maybe the xp t... The s hasnt had a problem fitting anywhere yet. But I think it just depends on what your comfortable spending. As these two machines will do and go pretty much the same places. The s just more comfortable!

      @@thedirtygeneral7220 Sorry I've been out of town the last week....I suppose I'm not a good judge on 2 vs 4 seat, because all I have ever had is a 4seat!! I drove my uncles old 2 seat 800 yrs ago, but thats it! I can tell you that the 4 seat feels very stable going up steep hills (pretty much makes me feel like I can climb anything!) Is generally better in the whoops. Obviously you hit the underside more on break over points.... But I have loved them, and 80 percent of my riding is with just 1 other passenger......
      Regarding the turbo.... I have avoided driving one (I had the xp4 1k) for years... My buddy in this video bought his, and the first time I drove it, it made my 1000 seem silly and slow😂😂 And I knew I was screwed!! So dont drive one😁

      @@dhandmg lol...ok I'll avoid turbos like the plague...until I'm ready to buy. I was always worried the 4 seat would just be way to long. Thanks for all the input.

    Same motor? Same gearing? Bigger tires would slow the acceleration a little. I have a 2021 turbo s 2 seat. Its not as fast as my yamaha was... in fact im kinda disappointed with the supposed 168hp that actually feels more like 120hp. But my dynamix suspension is absolutely amazing! There's no argument there. Once out of warranty ill change exhaust and instal a tuner. It should run a lot better then... they claim about 25hp increase? If so it should feel just right.

      Because it can do 70mph through desert whoops, with a family of 4, or a group of friends can comfortably go on rides. Get a bench seat in the rear and you can fit 3 kids. Not everyone is single and goes on rides solo

      What's actually a bigger surprise is how much that wheelbase adds to the capability of the machine. Sure in the tight stuff it's not quite as good but jumps, hill climbs, high speed desert and even crawling with larger tires, the added wheelbase kicks ass. The Mavrick x3 4 seater is a bit too long though outside of desert stuff IMO but it can surprisingly make it happen still in many situations.
