Awww. Loved your video and Langer’s is one of my favorite spots in LA where I’m from. I agree about the smaller portion being tastier. I pull a lot of the meat out of mine and use it for another sandwich the next day. So glad it ships well to other parts of the country!!

Good sandwich, one of my favorites, comes out to about $15 bucks a bite by the looks of it, Katz's Delicatessen New York City is much cheaper for much more food and free shipping anywhere in the country on orders over $100. Yes, what made it the best, is the portions per ingredients. Your first sandwich, you were just being a pig and way out of balance. The key to the #19 is their perfect formula perfect balance, portions per ingredient. I'd kill for a pastrami right now.

Because it is the most expensive component of the sandwich, and to improve margins, Usually, most establishments skimp on the core (meat) portion of the sandwich and overcompensate with bread to produce a guise of a large sandwich. That practice has now forced me to automatically and robotically double the meat on any sandwich I order. Plus because of my diet, my predisposition to increase protein and decrease carbs creates a natural tendency to "overload" and imbalance dishes with protein. After experiencing this make-your-own sandwich kit from Langer's, I've realized, which should be obvious to any "foodie" but hasn't been to me for the longest time, is that ingredient balance and synergy are Critical for flavor experience and enhancement. I looked for Katz's on Goldbelly but didn't see it, but then I saw that they ship directly from their site so I'll check it out!
