Amen
congratulations😊.
could you give me any material for Cambridge ilets.
@@MuhammadZohaib-me9xl thank you very much. I got my materials from Telegram
After analysing this video I came up with the following tips, based on my understanding ;
1: Highlight the names and heed the points of the compass.
2: Take the pencil and move it according to the script of the listening in the map
3: Imagination plays an important role in scoring the maximum in Map questions. so just imagine the speaker is talking to you.
4: Practice the map questions from RUclips - I found it very effective, especially if you are preparing for the computer-based test, it is the easiest way to access tons of exercises.
5: Do heed the comments of the popular videos like this one and probably you would get great people sharing their experience.
Hi Hasmat, would you recommend some videos to practice maP lavel...
@@crissymaralit4821, so I got my result last week (6.5 for listening around 29 correct as I calculated after exam). What surprised me was that they brought a reading passage from one of the previous Cambridge books as the listening questions which was about the coffee production process, this is the one they brought; www.ielts-mentor.com/reading-sample/academic-reading/1024-ielts-academic-reading-the-story-of-coffee. My suggestion would be to first, learn important vocabulary about maps, locations, secondly, practice the Cambridge books ( PDF), finally take notes using pen and pencil not computer notes because each such note taken is a lesson which is, in fact, a mistake you made. And finally, everyday open that note and read and kinda memorise it ,so you understand what mistakes did u make and what not to repeat. In my opinion, Your focus should be more on the multiple-choice questions ( 1 choice or multiple choice) as they are in every single listening exam. Therefore, the probability of map questions is quite low compared to that of MCQs or fill in the blanks.
Yes . Using pencil really helps
I used to mark my maps from the last marked building to the next. Now I understand most of the stuffs are marked from the point of entry. Thanks a lot!!
Hi Alex
I just want to say that I had tree weeks to prepare for the IELTS and thanks to you also I achieved band 7.5 to all the tasks. Good bless you for all your work. I'm very grateful.
Here are many teachers teach us,but Alex you teach us very practically....❤️ Your teaching level is very high.everyone should understand very easily...😍😍
Thank you very much! This is good content for any IELTS test takers! The only time maps really mess me up is when they talk about directions in the terms of cardinal points. i.e. north south east west. I keep getting confused whether the west is meant to be right or left. North and South are easy just up and down.
One way how i tackle this issue is remembering that I am Asian and most people who come from the US and Europe are usually coined the term westerners. So it is easy for me to derive that west means left and east means right. Maybe this might help a few people who usually have the same issues remembering directions like me. :)
You are an amazing teacher, Alex. Thank you from from the bottom of a Palestinian's heart.
Wish Palestine get Peace with the help of Allah Almighty
Thank you E2 IELTS for all your help. All your videos are informative and educational. They truly have helped me study last minute for the IELTS test and as a result, I have successfully achieved the score I needed. Guys this video is no BS at all. Alex, I loved this method of using a pointer (Finger/pencils in exam) on Maps. I saw this video and practices few videos on YT. It greatly helped me on my exam. TY Alex.
Thanks Alex, your teaching really simplified maps/labeling practice…was so scared but after this class,my confidence boosted cos I find it easy now reading a map.
Great video Alex the way you demonstrates the Map in the second part of the video by moving the cursor with the audio is fabulous... Thanks a lot Alex..👍
This is genius, this is the part where I’m weak at
Me too
Just to clarify, does your sentence require “at”? (Im asking bcos we, asians use English based on grammar lessons)
same here

Hey, I did a listening test yesterday and i went crazy so i am here. This one is pretty easy. Just let you know guys, in my listening test I heard a lot of times '' JUNCTION '' and it went me crazy, literally. Look it up in your main language. Plus, in the test, the recording will be faster. Damn.
You're amazing Alex. Thanks a million on your step by step tutorials on mapping type of questions which seems to be confusing most at times.

Ryt

Thanks for the heads up ! I listened it with 1.25X speed
Not really. This is around the same speed. I have taken IELTS twice before and this is quite competent to how it is in the test

I' m always get confuse and tricky today very clear and excellent way to brief thank you
Mam, Allah will bless you. Your way of explaining maps is cool. Love from Bangladesh...

Really helpful material for me thanks alot 👍👍
It is helpful for me like thriving guy to make good in my upcoming IELTS exam...Thanks E2,,,
This kind of excercise is one of the most difficult for me. TY so much!
Thanks so much, very useful lesson! Actually, I failed to locate only tje public pool. The speaker said: "From where we are now, head right and take the first left etc..". I was considering that I'm on Grover Street, staying in front of turn to Beach Road and gazing at the hotel (I), yet turned out, that I was in front of the restaurant (I). This moment seemed to be slightly ambigious..
same :)
Miss Alex in E2 channel. She is so good. Is it possible know her update?
Thanks Alex for explaining right left clearly
4/6 in my first try..... And thanks you for explaining us so beautifully!
This is my weakest part of Listening, and I always read labeling maps. Thanks so much for sharing, I'll get more practice in!
Thank you so much, but unfortunately I could not find this course of listening for more practicing.😞
It is very difficult maps i have ever seen.
Thank you so much to show the tricks.
Also your channel is very helpfull
This type came in August 1 2019 exam... It was difficult,
Thanks for helping us 😇 god bless u and ur team
Although i am weak in maps but in this map i was able to catch the answer in first trial,,,,❤️❤️❤️
Absolutely a great tips for this part, thank you so much ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏🙏
Thank you so much for giving me a interesting information about maps and now I feel happy because I am able to solve the maps problem by watching this video thank yoh
It's great!.. i am able to follow those directions given..Thanks..
That was amazing. Directly to the points . Very productive ❤
Mam great job. Map understanding is always a problem for me but u taught it really well and in a easy way
I came across a super tricky map labelling section in the IELTS test in 19 Fed 22. The test's audio speed is twice as fast as this test sample, which made so difficult for all test takers to follow.
I would say it was an unfair listening test.
Master Alex, I like the tip you give usually focus on words, you taught me to focus on a story.
d, f, a, c, i, g,
how to see left right in map
9:38 / 13:08 left is upwards and then 10:18 / 13:08 upward is also right
Thanks for your useful videos.definately this significant video would help me my ielts exam😍💯💯💯👏👏👏keep it up
Thank you mam.i got 6/6. i am improving i hope .all because of you mam and jay sir.

Dear Ma'am I really want to know is why the speed is fast during exam time and normal when we practice..What is the reason for having fast speed ... Plz explain.
Is the speed of the real test faster than Cambridge books?
YOU ARE A BLESSING !!!
Thank you

ruclips.net/video/F5FZPMNEMWQ/видео.html
I have a doubt. For locating the 'public pool', we were currently at 'I'. And they said , "from where we are now, head right, and take the first left." How would we know if the 'right' is from the west side of I(hotel), and the first left is into 'beach road'? Or How do we know if we need to take the right from the south side of the 'I' (hotel) ? I hope my question is clear.
Assume that you face the direction you are going in to make the left and rights make sense.
You r such a blessing for ielts test takers. Thank you😇
Thank you😊
You are really a good teacher
5/6 have to practice to ensure.
Thanks for this video. Kindly more videos on how to tackle map listening questions
