Some students still seem confused about certain aspects of the listening test. Let me clarify further. CAPITAL LETTERS You can write ALL your answers (40 answers) in capital letters. OR you can choose to write ALL your answers in lower case but remember that special words sometimes have a first letter as a capital at the start. You have two choices as explained above. INSTRUCTIONS For instructions, "one word and/or a number" (= one word and a number / one word or a number). You answer could be "24 books" or "2 books". The numbers are not counted as digits. They are counted as whole numbers. For example: 1950 = is counted as one number around 1950 = one word and one number 2 = one number 54 = one number 1,200,150 = one number 6.40 = one number However, if the instructions state "one word and/or numbers" (= one word and numbers / one word or numbers) , you can have: 1950 and 2005 = one word and two numbers. I hope that make's it clearer for you all. Please let me know if you have any other worries. All the best Liz

@@niflanazar8432 from my experience and what others usually say..its all about practice, especially writing where the more we practice according to IELTS marking criteria the easier and effective it gets..and get accustomed to the sections as much as possible. In exam time management is the key in reading and writing..therefore it all goes back to practicing as many exercises and models as possible. If we do that everything should be fine. 😃
@@niflanazar8432 Speaking is also fine as long as you're aware with the patterns i.e the 3 sections and the kind of approach we need to have in each.. I'd suggest you watch IELTS speaking interviews on RUclips so you have a better idea..they may also include latest questions..i had a couple of similar questions that i saw in YT videos.. And obviously practice as to how you'd answer those qs asked in the videos. As for Writing visit the site Ieltsadvantage.. there's also a RUclips channel..that guy neatly gives example model essay for each type of essay model and how our approach for each should be in given time..apart from Liz, i found that site helpful for writing. Again, practice and time management are key. Best of luck for your exam. Stay positive 😃

Incredibly useful videos. simple words, appropriate mimics, nice accent, true stresses on distinguished syllables. Liz you are amazing ❤
This is literally worthwhile lesson. She explains the lesson with clear voice, good tone, and the way she speaks can easily be understood even by new English learners, me in particular. Thanks 🙏🏾
Unique art of communication with respect to listening.
Hi Liz,
Just wanted to say a big thank you to you, you’re an amazing teacher.
I was very nervous about my Ielts test but I kept watching your videos and practising as suggested by you and got overall 8 band.
Your tips are useful.
I have recommended my friends who are going to take the test to watch all your videos and implement the tips in test.
Once again a big Thank you. ☺️
Done with my IELTS and got L-8 R-8 W-7 S-7 and an overall band score of 7.5. P.s this happens to be my first attempt and im glad I made it.THANK YOU LIZ, for proving the people with a gold mine of free and highly valuable and informative content. You are practically helping thousands of people who want to work or study abroad cross their first hurdle called IELTS. What you do for free is such a rarity these days. You have the good wishes of all those who made it in IELTS with your videos and blog. Thanks again and please excuse any grammatical mistakes in my comment haha. :P :)
Hey how did u score that in your first attempt?😍
@@niflanazar8432 from my experience and what others usually say..its all about practice, especially writing where the more we practice according to IELTS marking criteria the easier and effective it gets..and get accustomed to the sections as much as possible. In exam time management is the key in reading and writing..therefore it all goes back to practicing as many exercises and models as possible. If we do that everything should be fine. 😃
@@rohitiyyapu3743 🥹okie. Thank you.
I’ve got ma exam on Saturday 😭.. I’m so nervous.
What would u say about speaking ?? Test
@@rohitiyyapu3743 ya ya I’m following that. For speaking, which channel would u recommend?🥲

Dr ReeeN good job. Can u plz let me know for listening, do we get earphones or we have to listen on the speakers???
And also for writing on answer sheets, we should use pencil or pen?
For me it was in a speaker. But there might be headphones.

Hi Liz.. i heard an IELTS test.. and the answer is 'fees of 5 pounds'. But the instruction given is that we can use either three words or a number. At the end of test, answer given is '5 pound fee' which is wrong for sure. I think answer should be 'five pounds fee'... is it correct or whether i should write 'five pound fee' ... kindly advice..
Liz, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart ♥️ Your tips and instructions are brilliant. I got 9.0 in listening and overall, 8.0. Your videos were the only guidance I had during my 2-week preparation for the test.
