Join us as we take you on a full tour of Beamish Museum! This massive open air Museum bring the history of North-East England to life, spanning from the 1820's to the 1950's. In this vlog, we finally see the brand new 1950's Town, with exhibits including a bowling green, semi-detached houses, a police building, and much more! We also explored some of our favourite areas of Beamish, including the Fairground (which has expanded since our previous visits), the 1900's Town, the 1820's Pockerley, and the 1940's Farm!

This was a nostalgic blast from the past for me as I have been to Beamish many times from my early childhood. My Nana and aunts, uncles and cousins lived nearby in County Durham. I didn't realise until watching another video that it was constantly expanding. I hope to visit my aunt and Beamish again this summer. I'm Scottish and my mum had a colleague here in Scotland who's father-in-law's childhood home was rebuilt brick by brick at Beamish. It was one of the miner's homes. My parents have both passed away but I have a photo from Beamish on display with us in period dress in the 1900's street from 30 years ago. Great Vlog!
I’m American, but actually lived in UK, East Rainton, country Durham, 1997-2000, visited Beamish first time in year 8 years ago… been back many times while visiting my friends, but it’s been a few years now. Love Beamish so much, the hogs in the 1800s farm… so funny. Thank you for this, I’m remembering the saltwater taffy just thinking about it. Good memories. 🇺🇸❤️🇬🇧

Nice to see the globe still spinning it was originally from the Philleas Fogg factory in Consett which closed it doors in 2015.
Went there Saturday 27/11/23 absolutely brilliant, had a great day brought back a lot of memories, I highly recommend this place.

loved the buses and tram system and the staff, the knowledge they were handing out was priceless.
want to go back for the cinema, sweet shop, the photographer and the pits. 👍🏽

What a great vlog I loved that.
I've never been here but have always wanted to,and I can't think of two nicer people to look around with,and Cali was really good too.
Some of the crowds and queues would really put me off though,like for the chippie and the sweet shop,and the queue for the bus or was it a tram,that stretched quite a way down the street,I've heard it's a great place to visit though and I can see from your vlog why.

Have a fantastic time in Orlando,and as always am looking forward to the Halloween vlogs,for the last few years I've saved them all up and watched them all on Halloween night on the telly with the lights off and a nice whisky.

Absolutely love beamish my favourite part of couse is the fairground and school 💚
Went to the beamish in 2017. It is def a place you need a car to access, but it was a lovely day out on the way to York from Durham. I recommend it if you need somewhere interesting to travel to, especially if you are from another country, we don't really have anything quite like that where I'm from in California. I think its quite empty during the week if you get there when they open.

@TomandStace I've had some stotties delivered today to get a taste of the North East lol. there is so much to do and see and its such an amazing area when you have a dog plus the coast is stunning. beamish is so on my list now thank you!

Visited there afew times its truely amazing, we did a visit a Christmas evening it was fabulous really enjoyed it would definitely recommend, we visited also the celebration of the battle of the somme, (2016) 100yrs remembrance that was stunning as well, we also got a photo done at the camera shop,
I'm planning on visiting again as I've heard they've reconstructed Romer Parish a toy shop I used to go in in the 50s and 60s in middlesbrough happy memories I used to spend my pocket money
So much bigger than when I last went in 2013 as they were building the 1940's farm area then. Also coudn$'t go intobthe tunnles as was closed but been innwhen was like 7 years old. Thanks for sharing.

Beamish is a stunning, beautiful place to visit the best attraction in the northeast for your money ya carnt do better fact from someone who lives there, the best visitor attraction in the northeast get doon to davies fish chip shop in village chips cooked in dripping like ya nanna did in the good old days bonny lad❤
